How Will the Society React to the Hundred Year Anniversary of 1914?
by slimboyfat init's only a couple of years away now and what a headache it must present to the gb - providing they have given it much thought already.
there probably is no elegant way of presenting the hundred year long failure of the end to come; the fact that the "short period of time" of satan being cast down to the earth has now stretched beyond any credibility.
but they have to deal with it one way or another.

by Gorbatchov inbecause gorby has attended the memorial, he and his wife decide that one meeting a week was more then enough.. the rest of the family has attended the meeting this morning, including the special statement about the use of internet for marketing reasons instead of the magazines.. later on the day, we visited the family for a good cup of coffee.
nobody told us about the special statement!
and nobody asked us why we did not attend the special talk this day.. .

I think Noah put the Kangaroos, Koala bears, and many other species only found down under on the back of a Taradactle and flew them over. Kinda like on the Flintstones.
BroMac, are you kidding me? The Land Masses were once all one and afterward, millions of years ago it broke apart and the continents started to drift hence the term "Continental Drift". (Bty, the continents are still drifting today) Those animals who were left on the Austrailian Continent evolved into the marsupial's and other species found there today. Many other animal species found down under have been introduced by man in the last few hundred (or maybe thousands) years.

I went to the "special" talk with the wifey today. Booooooring as Hell! What I did notice in this talk in what I call a "get up off your ass and bring us in more converts cause the big A is just around the corner BS", I noticed that they did not once mention 1914 or the generation crap at all! So weird, they used to pound us with it 20 times per meeting with "1914"to now not even mentioning it once during a special Big A talk. Maybe it was only in my hall? Anyone else noticed that?
God, how stupid can people be to still believe this nonsence.

How Many Years have your JW Relatives Shunned You ?
by flipper ini felt with newer members coming on and other jw fence sitters lurking it might be a good thing to explain what many of us have had to go through in regards to being shunned, cut off, ostracized from our jw families in an unjust way .
whether we are dfed or inactive - many of us have shared this same fate and ill treatment.
for many of us- it makes us stronger, more firmly entrenched that the decision we made to exit the jehovah's witness organization was the correct decision as no organization that claims to be " christian " would ever commit such horrid atrocities or justify it !

I've only started to mention some of the craziness of the religion (I woke up 2 years ago) to my JW parents and they're already almost shunning me now for it. Its insane when you think of the power this cult has over its memebers!.
