  Withdrawing community support in the congs

  i've noticed in the past 10 years that the social support that used to be available in the congs, a shoulder to cry on, elders to help with family/marriage issues these seem to have been purposely withdrawn.

  counsel is even heard from the platform that the elders are not there to help people with their problems.. so first in the 80s-90s they take away the congregation get to getters and social events and now they seem to be going one step further in taking away the emotional support for people too.. this will take away an aspect that i'm sure was keeping alot of people in the borg, the community support.

  if that's not there and its just about meetings and ministry how many will start to get their emotional support elsewhere?.

  The same statements can be made about any plaintiff that takes money and agrees to be “hushed”. What are they trying to hide? Lies?

  They know signing a gag order also legally bars WT from discussing the case as well, and talking about how the plaintiff took money to keep their own skeletons hidden.

  The sword cuts both ways.

  Did read where I said they signed a gag order?

  Of course they are legally barred. That’s why the settlement is offered in the first place. It would be foolish to offer money and not attach that to it.

  Why do you think all these plaintiffs disappear when their cases are settled?

  Thats exactly what WT wants, to be honest. The settlement money is simply taken off of the books.

  Lol the plaintiff has to agree to the settlement. So are they also admitting they know they are going to lose? Why accept a settlement and sign a gag order if you know you have a rock solid case and can “expose” WT?

  If you believe no innocent organization would settle, you know nothing about litigation.

  Settling, for one, is less expensive than going through an entire case and winning. It is a FACT 90+ percent of settlements are done for financial reasons.

  Secondly, settlements ensures confidentiality. It benefits an organization like ours to ensure that the plaintiff cannot sell their stories to book publishers and movie makers.

  Going through a case and winning does not come with “gag orders” or confidentiality clauses. So winning, long term, can be bad. Settlements are long term beneficial because it keep the story out of the media.

  Having stolen merchandise “locked up” doesn’t change the fact he has stolen merchandise. It doesn’t make him innocent, dummy.

  Prove what? YOU said he is a thief (evidence) and he has stolen merchandise (proof).

  I NEVER said WT is hiding crimes, and are innocent anyway.
