Does it represent value for the people whose contributions paid for it?
Well, as it's probably worth considerably more now than when they bought it, the only answer to that is yes.

this is one of the last things you are expected to do.
in a society that creates you to go home and watch the kardashians.
in an economic system where the currency trust is wavering on a private banking system.
If you take my post offensively, I'll take my leave immediately. I'm sorry to bother.
Bye then

@TROT
I'll have some of what you're smoking. Thanks.
in response to the 37 threads in my evolution is a fact series - see bottom of op for links - perry posted a link to an article "44 reasons why evolution isn't true".. i offered him a challenge on the thread and by pm.
predictably he is totally ignoring it, so i am offering the challenge to any evolution-denier who thinks they have evidence to support their position.. please present one specific piece of evidence for creationism.. my task will be to refute it with evidence within 24 hours.. then i will present one piece of evidence for evolution and your challenge will be the same.. all posts must be as succinct as reasonably possible.
entirely in your own words, without copy-paste, videos or links.. please post your interest to take part and we will set it up before the first actual post in the exchange.

That looks and sounds suspiciously like the 'It's complex and I don't understand it therefore creation' argument. Or are you coming at it from the specified complexity point of view.
Either way it's not evidence.

If evidence emerged to support creation would you change your mind?
Has it?
Or are you admitting that there currently isn't any?
take a look at the back of your tv/entertainment centre.
a mass of power and signal cables connect the various pieces of equipment in very specific ways.
imagine you wanted to switch the locations of your satellite receiver and your dvd player.
Bollocks
:)
why is this the first time i have come across this?
my husband showed me a video about how the jws invest in stock like cinemax, disney, companies producing war weapons, alcohol and much much more.
if this is true, there are tax records to show for it right?
WT does not invest. But people may have long-term investments made for example from before they became JWs and then the WT has inherited these stocks upon their death, and as far as I have understood it, US laws in certain respects are such that one cannot "get out" of the ownership. There are some very technical discussions here that seem alein to us non-US ones, but that at least is how I have been able to understand it.
i want to share this great article from an informative website on religion and how it is an age old play on emotions and why many are fleeing from religion, including you.
the other insightful articles on this website will help to soothe your complex worries and open your eyes to a great reality.. one love.

What would that name be?
I can think of one.
Bye Uncondtional Love - don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out.

i was wondering how common it is for a sinner/apostate to be outed by a babbling jw care worker?
say you went to your dr because you were pregnant and unmarried or wanting counseling for having to live a double life as a pretend jw... and a jw secretary at the drs office saw this on your file and went tattling to the elders?.
But what she got crushed her, as to be a nurse was her hearts desire.
It can't have been that much her heart's desire if she was willing to sacrifice her professional integrity over an everyday procedure.
If she can't accept a patient's right to confidentiality then the nursing profession is much better off without her. Good riddance.
And it's got nothing at all to do with abortion and everything to do with JW brainwashing.

The JW nurse was praised for putting KH purity ahead of her medical profession and confidentiality,
Not sure where you're based but if that happened in the U.K. and the NMC (the professional regulator for nurses and midwives) got to hear about it she would be removed from the register. And rightly so.
