I think you misused the scripture. As you can see below, the writer was talking about faith producing deeds or works, he was saying that even the demons believed there is a God, but, that is a totally different thing than believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and having faith in Him to grant you eternal life. The demons can have no such hope.
I believe it was used quite correctly. The point this scripture is showing (by one seemingly spurious and out of context statement) is that BELIEF is not a determining FACTOR for a man's salvation, it is the FAITH/WORKS symbiosis. Even the demons BELIEVE and it isn't a demon believing that will save them. Believing is not a determing factor, because the demons do believe.
What makes TRUE BELIEF different is a belief by way of FAITH. WHY?Because TRUE FAITH is given out from God so man can TRULY BELIEVE as to God and Jesus Christ.
I believe it goes like this:
God first gives out faith to a man which has a symbionic relationship with good works (of mercy)
Which causes a man to truly believe.It's all about faith and faith is all God given.

That's what I'd like to know...
But the contextual evidence and the definition evidence sure is strong ain't it?
I have found ALL KINDS of interesting things in studying Biblical Hebrew. For instance, a DEFINITE typo that was FULLY retained. I have even found secular Jewish commentaries that concur with my findings. Of course, they put their Talmudic voodoo spin on it. But they do verify my findings.

Can you read? The chosen sons of God will not be revealed until the end. The seperating is done AT THE END by Christ HIMSELF.

Where did you turn?
by NobodyOfInterest inyou may have heard someone say "if jehovah's witnesses don't have the truth, then there isn't any truth".
in fact, some of you may have at one time been so convinced that you said that very statement yourselves.. now you sing a different tune.. the following question is directed towards those who have left the organization, yet still agree with their stand on major doctrines such as (no) trinity, (no) hellfire, and who at one time clearly saw (and maybe still do) the paganism mixed into the popular holidays...... do you believe that "there isn't any truth" now, or did you turn to somewhere else for spirtuality?.
and if you have turned somewhere else, have you had to accept doctrines that you don't believe in at all, just so you could have somewhere to go (i.e.

Christ will seperate out the TRUE BELIEVERS from the false Lord Lorders.
That is something ONLY CHRIST CAN DO, because it means being able to read hearts. Hearts that HE created to be good.

And who shall JUDGE who has TRULY been hearing Christ? Is there any man? Can a man CLAIM for himself that he TRULY hears God? The only way that can be proven is when the power of God backs up that claim.
JW's say they hear Christ, and surely, by their record of documented lies, can be eliminated from ones who TRULY hear. Those who are TRULY HEARING CHRIST, will be shown and revealed in the end. -

Who decides WHO RIGHTFULLY has been believing? Christ. Christ will seperate WHOEVER the true believers are from the false believers. Something only Christ can do. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, HE GAVE THE RIGHT to become children of God ALL WHO RECEIVED are ones who have SOMETHING GIVEN TO THEM.
