You're hardly a sell-out. You're just playing the long game. There is nothing wrong with remaining silent in order to get along with and help your aging father. For a time I was in a similar circumstance with my mother. I told her although I was no longer interested in attending meetings, that I encourage her to go since that is where her friends are. But then out of nowhere she started asking questions as to why I didn't see it as truth. So I had her look at what Watchtower said about 1975. By using Watchtower's own literature, I was able to show her how wrong they are about everything. There is no truth to be found amongst the lie. If the truth has to keep reinventing itself, it never was the truth. Truth is constant.

Thanks for the quick answer. Having trouble deciding which shirt is more stupid, the birdcatcher shirt or the Tibor shirt. I wonder who is buying either shirt and why especially at $27 each.

Knowing that Lloyd is calling the people he is trying to fraudulently sue the "Magnificent Seven" is telling. He is unhinged and they are in his head more than he will outwardly admit. It is interesting that he can't even deny what he is accused of, merely arguing semantics and demanding to know the name behind the account. By going on the attack instead of simply blocking "Thai Pleasures" just gave us more material and will cost him additional patrons.
Lloyd Evans, you did this to yourself, you asshat. My friend was correct when he predicted about 5 years ago that you would self-destruct right about now.

We can’t have too large a car party which means only a few in each car
What difference would that make? If one person is sick and they are in a car group of 4, then the other 3 have been exposed. All 4 will have interacted with everybody else at some point. Makes as much sense as grocery aisles being one way.

i was in bethel for years early 2000s and was heavily involved with brd from start to finish .

im current elder in one of the congregations in london.

what i’ve noticed is huge changes since covid .

Welcome Mike. I left Watchtower long before you went to Bethel. My thoughts are that Covid changed everything for the JWs. Taking a break from the constant busy-work of meetings gave people time to think on their own. That is very dangerous for a high control group like Watchtower. Now that we are in a "post-Covid" world, people are seeing that it was not part of the Last Days like the GB (Stephen Lett and Tony Morris) said it would be. Although that was speculation and not really a prophecy, it didn't age well. Just another failed prediction from "God's spokespeople."
I predict Watchtower will have a hard time weaning people off of Zoom. There will be zealous elders telling people that if you are on Zoom instead of at the Kingdom Hall that you are lacking faith in Jehovah. They'll make frequent use of Hebrews 10:25 to force people back to meetings. "And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near."
