  My Current Views About God, Relgion, JWs and Life In General

  this past year has been the most life changing year anyone could ever go through.

  waking up, leaving the cult, separating from my wife, research, research, research, reading, pondering etc.

  and i've found myself having to re-learn and re-evaluate everything i thought i knew.

  Care to show where professor Dawkins stated that? I have a feeling that the mistake was yours alone and that professor Dawkins didn't make any such claim.

  I have just re-read it and it's clearly misleading and he is not clear they are still foxes, the paragraph makes it sound like they are now dogs.

  Thank you for correcting me, Dawkins lead me to believe they changed species to dogs and wolves. I am glad I know the scientific fact now. There was no species evolution in this experiment.

  Thankyou for replying as well as replying to everyone else

  At the end of the day all you have is a domesticated wolf. Domesticated by intelligent design not natural selection.

  Now follow Natural Selection to its logical conclusion. What would survive in a hostile environment, a tame wolf or a hostile wolf?

  The video does not support evolution, but intelligent design.

  The experiment was with foxes, do you mean it didn't produce dogs and wolves but just tame and hostile foxes? Are you sure the end generations are still foxes? Their appearance even changed. Is what you're saying true?

  please excuse me for long-winded ranting.

  i know, as do most of us here that "love" is not something that the jdub's are known for except in their deluded, feeble minds.. i can handle their hypocrisy when it is directed at me, but when it is aimed at family who for decades have genuinely been the type of jw that the watchtower presents to the public, and when it is motivated by pure hate, then i get pissed!.

  my mother was dunked in the 1940's and my father in the 1950's.

  Thanks for your rant. Sorry you have lost your mother. I think it's very eye opening how JWs treat the elderly and weak, I hope your dad finds some comfort from outside JWs and wakes up. It's good to rant.

  In fact on the philosophical scene evolution is not a scientific theory, but metaphysical. Evolution is an abstract, speculative philosophy. Evolution does not qualify as a scientific theory. It is a fairytale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless and we have no absolute proof of it. Evolution rather than being a fact, is a faith, since it cannot meet the test of science.

  I don't understand what you mean that evolution is metaphysical. Scientists have proven that evolution is a fact. Do you not think that natural selection occurs in living things? If not why not?

  What kind of information does DNA have? What kind of information must the origin of life researcher ‘explain the origin of’? Webster defines information as ‘the attribute inherent in and communicated by alternative sequences or arrangements of something that produces specific effects.’ A block of binary code in a software program is information. DNA contains alternative sequences of nucleotide bases that produce a specific effect; therefore DNA contains information. DNA sequences are improbable and specifically arranged to perform, this is functional information similar to CAD – CAM. Now the question becomes not what is the origin of life but the origin of biological information. Where did the information to build the first living organism come from? Let’s bring cause and effect. If an effect has only one known cause then the presence of the effect is enough to support the presence of the cause. The only known cause of information is intelligence.

  This is a very interesting point I don't know if the only known cause is intelligence, but it's certainly probable that the formation of DNA didn't happen by chance.
