They are performing the typical CYA actions of someone who doesn't have a clue about what they are saying and hope no one calls them on their BS. But if they do get called on it then they have the CYA crap to fall back on.

by zophar inif you have been a jw for 20+ years you may remember that the wt went into great detail on different illustrations that jesus used and the "type/anti-type" ridiculous explanations.
remember the revelation book and how those obscure jw conventions of the past pictured big things in heaven and the opening of seals?
anyway, the wt lessons for the next two weeks do two big things for me.

I don't think the average witness realised they have just kissed their 1914, gentle times, this generation belief system Goodbye.
I brought up that very point saying that the Bible nowhere stated that the seven times in Daniel was x amount of years that ended in 1914 and asked if the person I was speaking with could PROVE 19 14 without using the type/anti-type of Daniel as used previously. They stammered, stuttered, um, and uh, and um, and of course COULD NOT!

I feel like we can trust everything the governing body tells us now that we know they are the FDS."
"We are sooo fortunate to know who the FDS is. The world doesn't know who they are."
The world doesn't have a clue about the truth."
Next up is the type/anti-type BS.
The WT makes the bragging statement that Jehovah has helped make the FDS more discreet. Funny, the dictionary defines discreet as, "not likely to be seen or noticed by many people." So they made a blatant lie right there!
And who really cares who or what some old goat herder named Naboth was or did?
I apologize, but this is making me physically ill. Maybe more commentary later, if I can stand to do so.

This article contains a longer version of the add. The one I saw last night had edited out the content between about :20 seconds in until 1:05 minutes in. Other than a brief Scientology logo at the :20 second mark there was no reference to Scientology until the very end.

Just last night there was a Scientology advertisement on the TV.
I paused the DVR immediately after the Scientology ID, muted the sound, and then played the remainder of the add. Then I paused the TV and asked, "Isn't it wonderful how Jehovah's Witnesses have begun advertising the jay double u dot org web site on television? Imagine how many can be reached with the good news now."
To a person my company agreed and were very pleased with that add, UNTIL I rewound it and they saw it was Scientology. Then I asked, "What is the difference between what JDubya's are doing and Scientologists?"

My Last thoughts in Field Service Before the Elderly Man Shat Himself and Pissed his pants in My New Car!
by PokerPlayerPhil indebating this was going to be the last day in field service was not hard after dealing with a nasty mess because i was grouped with the misfits of the kingdom hall!
i was reading this website on my phone while something started to stink in my car and one of the weird kids nobody wanted to work with yelled "hey, you leaking all over my seat, he was freaked out too!
" the older, retired elder, his pioneer daughter had forgotten to put his depends on and that became my problem.

Some of the things I got to enjoy with my vehicle.
Spilled milk, not told about it, rotten milk smell in the summer. Door panel pulled off when the door was slammed shut. Broken lock for the same reason. Garbage left under the seats, between the seats. Mud tracked in. Never a nickel for gasoline. Cracked window when some idiot used a metal folder to "tap" the window indicating which direction to turn. HI liter writing on the seats by ill behave kids. Broken rear window defroster after bags were all thrown into the rear window deck.

It sounds like you may have been in the same vehicle I was.
Older guy gets out in someone's private yard to throw a whiz, and the strain of doing that causes him to shlt his pants. Then we all got to enjoy the odor going back to town from thirty miles out.

Germany Branch Visit May 10 by Mark Sanderson
by Daniel1555 inthis saturday is the branch visit of mark sanderson in the selters german bethel.. there will be a video streaming for all the congs.. some of you might have heard branch visit talks of sanderson.. will there be something special or controversial?.
i am not sure if i should attend even if it's just for noting or recording some controversial stuff.
would be hard though, 3 hours of wasted time.

This program is historic! The first broadcast was in October 2014. Seven months have flown by. That means each of the governing body members have had the opportunity to host one of our monthly programs. And were now starting over again.
