I'm not sure the WTB&T$ cancelled them. I would place money on the French government having something to say about it with the declared state of national emergency though.

i was just thinking that the org has said lots of outrageous things over it's history and most jws just continue onward without a second thought.

there are conflicting reports, some say he died instantly at 11:40pm yesterday, others say that he was badly injured and taken to a nearby hospital.. from what i've previously read about emwazi, he was apparently terrified of being targeted by drones - yesterday it seems his nightmare was made reality.

If the government authority in any given locality says they are legitimate, they are.

Well the JDubya's always say that full dress clothes are the only appropriate clothing for "true" christians no matter what they are doing. The thing I wonder about is who is going to be carrying those "go bags"? Even government web-sites give good ideas of what to pack, and those suggested items would never fill all the room those silly JDubya's will be hefting around. I'd be damned if I would help them cart all that weight.
