i knew when it came time to read the afternoon expenses that it would be an incredibly high and ridiculous amount that was nowhere near the real expenses for that day.
sure enough, after lunch came the announcement.

I cannot stomach giving a run down on the ASSembly I was at today, as I have in the past.
But a few things stood out. They started with an aprox. $14,600 surplus, and by the time they got done sending the required tithe to "mother", paid for the site expenses (rented) etc. added "contributions at this time", they had a grand total left of a $949.00 surplus. "we thank you brothers (idiots) for your generous spirit in taking the opportunity to show Jehovah your appreciation for this ASSembly by placing your contributions in the conveniently placed boxes."
Other than that most of it was the SOS. Give more, do more, study more, pray more, less education, less secular work, less social contacts, less charity, less technology unless it is JDubya dot org or JDubya TV.

Implications of gay marriage ruling

but both are missing the forest through the trees.. the problem with the ruling is that which is discussed here so many times.
five unelected federal officials decided on policy for the whole country, running roughshod over every democratic principle.

Just for fun I had a jwtalk account. The typical JDubya's there are rabid worshipers of men. Of course one cannot be too worshipful, or you will be banned for that too.Reading the linked post I imagine that was sarcasm on the part of the newbie, and he will be banned in two or three more comments for "not being a good fit."

i'm slowly... slowly working on my wife (i call her mrs. hardcore) and even my m-i-l (who taught my wife how to be hardcore).
making some amazing progress... they are still hardcore... but unrecognizable from a couple years ago!.

I slipped on over there some time ago and created a profile. Funny thing was I parroted all the governing pope worshiping buIIshlt on any comment I made and those assholes still banned me, even though NOTHING I said was against their cult mantra's!
I even used my name and they ASSumed it was fake!
Well they put the final nail in the coffin containing the last vestiges of any desire to be associated with those assholes, thank GOD! Now I will be even more forceful in my comments at the meetings I must endure for the sake of family in this "captive" religion!
I hope they all rot and burn in hell when they get there!
