i didn't see it mentioned here yet, but this week at morning worship in bethel it was mentioned that one of the women shot and killed in the virginia beach shooting was a jw.. rub a dub.

As a group - JWs have always excelled at having Belief Amnesia".
I remember people being EXCITED when something the thought was "TRUTH" completely changes!
Imagine that happening in a NON religious organization? Consequences maybe?

Her book is amazing!
I thought I would experience trigger after trigger, but the way she tells her story is fantastic.
Learning about the JW life in China is basically what I imagined, but of course never get any info on what goes on there.
I am not really into reading the stories of ExJWs - since I lived it (like most of us), but I recommend this one.
Has anyone else read it?

Was awesome! Just downloaded her book.
Wonder if I can read more than 10 pages at a time without going into a triggered depression.

SO SO MANY!
I grew up in a Congo of very educated people.
I moved to one with well "not".
First Public Talk I went to - a "brother" spoke in a way I thought was a joke? I had never heard someone mangle english like this.
I literally started laughing (thinking everyone would) and got a elbow in the GUT from my girlfriend who was in that cogo.
One of the many words he said that I had NO idea of the translation :), was Bitniss.
He said if over and over.
Turned out it was Business.
