my wife asked me after the year 2000 came and went without fanfare(because the wt organization said all the “new world” would be here within this 20th century would end), “ what would it take for you to leave the truth?”.

my reply was “ if i turn 60 in this “system of things”.

I was always wired to live, not die. The thought of dying had never been in my vocabulary and scares the sh_t out of me!

Me too. I can not deal with the thought of blinking out of existence.

I cant imagine not being around to see my daughters have kids or become who they will become.

I am terrified by it, and to a large degree I think it is paralyzing me to living the best life I can now.

Feel... lost.

It has always been said that the earth was much flatter than with small peaks (how stupid), and that the FLOOD waters pushed the mountains up, made the Grand Canyon and yada yada.

elders at the local kingdom hall knew of separate allegations against the man, but did not report those to law enforcement after relying on legal advice from headquarters that clergy in montana are not required to report allegations deemed by religious organizations to be “confidential.”.

The ruling, issued Wednesday, erased a $35 million jury verdict to Alexis “Lexi” Nunez, who was abused by a member of the Thompson Falls, Mont, congregation. Elders at the local Kingdom Hall knew of separate allegations against the man, but did not report those to law enforcement after relying on legal advice from headquarters that clergy in Montana are not required to report allegations deemed by religious organizations to be “confidential.”

The case – followed intensely by survivors, advocates, religious organizations, scholars, & lawyers across the country – was featured in one of the installments of a four-part 2019 Hearst Television National Investigative Unit series called, ‘Silent No More,’ which uncovered new allegations of child sexual abuse and decades-long cover ups inside the Witnesses organization nationwide.

NIU cameras were granted rare access to bring cameras into a state supreme court’s oral arguments in September to report on the Nunez hearing in Montana.
