i have been sad to see so many groups and individuals say that the cause of these events are the mental status of the shooters.

i have looked over the backgrounds of these shooters, and few had medically identified mental health issues.

it is too easy to think that people shoot or kill other people because they are mentally ill.. actually, many or most people with real mental illnesses are most likely to be the victims of others.. i have been a volunteer with the organization called nami (national alliance of mental lillness) for 25 years now.

Here in the UK we have a serious knife problem, with people getting stabbed in the street.
But the majority of people don't get involved in this sh!t and are still allowed to buy and own knives. It would be dumb to ban knives, right?

So how many mass stabbing killings are there?
How many schools have been closed down after a mass stabbing spree because no one could ever think about walking into that building again?

Why is the murder rate in England/Wales at 1.2/100K and the USA is 5.2/100K ?

Because Americans are more homicidal, or because you can buy guns at any fruit stand?

Public safety overrules a stupid ass 200 year old law put in a document that had NO concept of the damage it would cause.

Taking Military weapons out of public hands would fit in nicely to the "well regulated militia", part of the 2nd.

AR-15s function in exactly the same way as other rifles, and they are no more powerful than other rifles of the same caliber.

Yea and cuz they are exactly like other rifles is exactly why they are the PREFERRED weapon for mass shooters and for, wait for it, crazy militia people, who are waiting for the army to come get them, or a wave of millions of jews/blacks/hispanics, to rush their compound. (or to protect their white way of life).

It's also why the military uses M15 (fully auto AR15s), just cuz they are like every other rifle.

I have so had it with Gun Lovers (people haters), my message to all of you is - F you go F your gun barrel.

FYI - I grew up with guns and hunting. My dad and mom never needed an AR-15 to bag their yearly deer. They didnt have guns to protect themselves because they were chickensh#t cowards afraid of anyone who looks different coming to steal their TV.

Not all mass murderers are mentally ill but surely some are. The culture is the problem. Hollywood glorifies violence . Games teach kids killing people is cool.

Minimus, what country does not have the same culture? Canada? England? Japan?
Hollywood is pretty popular everywhere else. Also countries that are pretty radical with lots of hate and unrest have LOW shooting incidents, why?

I think Mass Shootings have to do with GUNS.

That's why it's not called a Mass Knifing, or a Mass Hanging, or a Mass.

Anyone trying to say (trump) that it's not (one of the stupidest excuses ever) "it's not guns that pull the trigger, its people that pull the trigger", is ingenuous. As if that's it, we wash our hands.

Sad we live in a society where so many:
A. People are so afraid of their government that they need guns just in case they have to defend themselves against the 4th armored division.

B. Afraid of the people around them that they feel the need to be armed to keep themselves safe.

C. Just love guns more than people.

It's just sad.

Do you know that since 1968 more americans have been killed GUNS, than have died in ALL wars combined :( 1.5 million!!

I wonder how many gun owners who if they had the change to trade their right to have a gun in exchange for the lives of the 1.5 million people back, would take that?
Maybe if it was your mom, or kid, or wife who was killed, it would make a difference?

1.the first is 2 cor.4:4 that satan is "the god of this system of things" to blind the minds of the unbelievers etc.. so logically this "system of things" would mean the governments ,politicians, armed forces and law enforcement agency`s such as the police would it not?

so satan is in control of all of these under the banner of being the god of this system of things.?.

2. rom.13: 1-7 " let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities for their is no authority except by god".

i was in full time service for six years including bethel.

once i got out of bethel, i figured i had already given them six of the best years of my life (ages 18-24) working as a slave/drone in their factory, so i rationalized that i had given them enough... so over the next 27 years i would say maybe $200 bucks is it.

i think their whole "voluntary contributions" idea is biting them in the ass, because over all jehovah's witnesses are a cheap group people with a few exceptions.
