  Broadcasting move part 2

  i think this is not an unimportant observation.. with the move of the broadcasting channel to the library part of jw.org the broadcasting are away from the general public.

  so the obscure gb video's about strange mathers are not out to the open anymore with a simple click to tv.jw.org.

  only the rank and file will find them easily.. i think this was the objective of the change.. g..

  I don't think the GB or the Helpers think there is anything odd or to be hidden in the Videos.

  I think they are proud of them, so I dont think it was about hiding them to the public.

  Ironically - they should since they all scream CULT!!

  it's easy to get bogged down with life and think you're not getting ahead or progressing.

  but regardless of where we think things may be going, pretty much everyone who's come through this site is an achiever who's done an amazing thing in one way or another even if they may not think about it.. so think about it!.

  you got past and over your programming and indoctrination.

  Confession Time - Music You're Embarrassed to Admit Listening To

  admit it, we all have things that we reel off when people ask what our favourite music is, just the same as if people ask what our favourite movies are.

  we're meant to say "citizen kane" and "casablanca" and not "battleship" or "pacific rim" but we know what we're going to watch if they are ever on tv at the same time (and which ones we've never actually seen).. so how about some confession time?

  what do you listen to when no one else is in the house?.

  None. Music is entertainment.
  Its like saying (to me) what wine are you ashamed to drink.

  The best wine is the wine you like to drink.

  The best music, is the music that you like to listen to.
  No stigma should be attached at all!

  to think they have hung the blue and white sign on every building they own in the world and that this was a publicity campaign with the presumed backing of the god of the universe....... it's not going well.. despite the 8.5 million followers, who through design have to visit the site......it isn't even in the top ten..... top fifty..... top one hundred ......top two hundred visited sites globally.. users on average click through 7 pages per visit and don't stay long, averaging about a minute a page.. as for the data on its search over time 'jw.org' is now googled globally at a rate less than 25% of its peak and is usually associated for a search for the daily text.. .

  between this and the carts, the only message getting through to real people is 'child abuse' and that woman from king of queens taking an interest!.

  i sincerely think we are seeing evidence of what has been anecdotal decline...... waited long enough for it!.

  Its a JW delusion like so many others.

  I had a JW friend who is 1/2 in 1/2 out and still will talk to me tell me once "that JW.org is the envy of the world" (fyi he is a programmer and should know better), I had to take him to task on it and ask him what evidence does he have to say that, and what about the site is any better than a nice blog.

  Of course there was none and he recanted.

  slimboyfat - what it does say - is that NEW people are not continuing to go to the site, or that spike would continue. It shows that most of the users are long term uses (JWs) and there is not a steady influx of new people on the site.

  Can`t Jehovah God/Holy Spirit get anything right in the first place ? Why is there always a new understanding of something they have been preaching for years previously ,doesnt that mean they were teaching error for all that time ?And God was happy with that ?

  It is the most maddening thing.

  god is sooo weak, he cant get his message across the 1st 5 times.

  JWs say - well its getting Brighter and Brighter - or
  We were not ready for that.

  let’s also not forget when they designed warwick, they spent money on expensive energy saving technology to save millions in the long run, years and decades in the future.

  As I was fading, I asked a few friend elders a question.

  Since they are cutting so many bethelites, why buy and build Warwick?

  Why not just expand Walkil some, they have so much land there?

  
  One answer was the funniest.
  "I hear that the GB feel Warkwick will be the buildings that will make it through the big A."

  How Long Did It Take To Finally Leave The Organization Once You Realized It Was Really Not The Truth?

  it actually took me a few years to finally leave the organization so i was mentally out for a while before i simply stopped all meetings altogether.. how long did it take you to finally make the break?

  It's hard to pin down exactly when I totally gave up on the WT, but I would say 3 years from around that time till my last meeting.

  But it was probably about 4 years of it in the making.

  Going from not being able to reconcile science and the bible (like the flood) to not seeing how masterbation, oral and anal sex, or premarital sex could in anyway be looked down on by god.

  Then not seeing how god could care about who loved who (homosexuality), since 10% of all life exhibits bi or homosexual activity.

  To the realisation (this came early) that there was NO holy spirit acting on anyone, or any intervention at all.

  To how can god care about zombies, vampires, pokemon, harry potter, (all fake things) and how they could be harmful to people who love god?

  To the GB keep changing their tune, and often going back and forth on the same issue.

  To having my mind blow of scriptures I read a million times that show that the god of the bible is much more evil than "satan" OMG the horrible death and destruction he loves!

  Then the realization that I wasted about 47 years of my life :(

  That kinda sums it up.

  Sex before marriage.

  mrs nic' and i were 16 and 18 years old respectively when we first met at a circuit assembly in corby.

  three years later we were married.

  we've had a great time, we're very lucky but looking back i can see how crazy it is to put that pressure to marry on teenagers.
