I think they realized that everyone will have internet access and just having a basic website would only get people online and then they would start looking around more.

I think the Zoom meetings give them greater psychological control - they can analyse eye movement, vocabulary, willingness to engage.

Most of the elders barely finished High School. They don't know anything about psychological control. Analyzing eye movement would probably be considered demonic by most JWs. And Vocabulary willingness to engage is just considered "spiritually weak"
The Watchtower is going online because they have no choice. The world changed right before their eyes and there was nothing they could do to stop the change except to jump on the band wagon or just become obsolete more quickly.

The Gospels may be stories like our Jewish myths that are meant to teach lessons, not report on history. Too many people might have lost the point of the Gospels and attribute to Jesus the wrong things. That would be a shame.

Are the Gospel stories of Jesus just made up?
Was Jesus just a preacher like Charles Russell and then Christians added the story of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus, feeding thousands with a few fishes and bread, walking on water and so on?
OR--was Jesus just another Ron Hubbard who turned religious, became a preacher, and just happened to attract a small group of people who just by coincidence grew into this world-wide phenomena called----CHRISTIANS?

I have no idea what the Democratic party is thinking. Kamala Harris didn't even get 1% of the vote from Democrats when she was running for president. Everyone hates her.
I think that's a smart pick for Biden, not only is she smart and well educated and has an aggressive personality but she will also pull in the ethnic vote because of her ancestry background.

And just about any one in political office in the USA is "Well Educated" - and has an aggressive personality. Just a few members in congress have no degree but were successful businessmen at one point. And they were voted into congress by small districts who didn't know any better.
Joe Biden just lost millions of voters because of picking Kamala as her vice president. Just about every one at my place of work is Democratic, my entire family and extended family is Democratic. And after finding out Joe picked Kamala for VP---all of my family and just about everyone at work is voting Republican.
They don't like Trump, but they know Kamala and Biden will take away gun rights, disband S.S. Take away property rights from every citizen. And give the power to those in the ruling class to dictate what the average citizen can or cannot do. They know these two want to bring in a Socialist Government to run the nation and many moderate Democrats will vote Republican for another 4 years until something better comes around in 2024.
The only problem I see is if neither Trump or Biden gets the 270 electoral Votes.
If no candidate receives the minimum 270 electoral votes needed to win the election, Then the United States House of Representatives will select the president, and the United States Senate will select the vice president
This would actually be the best outcome because there is a war brewing and this would calm things down because you would have a Democratic President and a Republican Vice President.
Which means nothing would get done for the next 4 years, but it would also calm people down from starting a civil war.

According to the Gospel accounts, most of what Jesus does is in secret, such as his healings and when he raises the dead. He impresses heavily upon others not to tell the public that they know he is the Messiah. And when he is glorified in the Transfiguration he forbids the apostles to tell anyone of the event until he is dead.
--No, Jesus sounds more like Joseph Smith who secretly received golden plates with the Book of Mormon and visions of angels, things no one else ever saw. People had to take what Smith said he had in his possession and what he claimed to have heard from heaven on faith.

Liked all the information you have posted on why Jews didn’t accept Jesus. I had some idea but your information cleared and added a lot of detail that I was missing. It makes sense what you said.
Also, I never considered the depth of what it meant that the Jews considered the Christians apostates of Jewish biblical text up to that point when Christians appeared.
Now I know why it’s very hard to mesh the Hebrew Scriptures with the Greek scriptures.
They don’t belong together!
Hell if only people knew this.
