Totally agree. I don't believe in "J" but I do believe there is some unfathomable creative entity that started the whole process.

Just don't ask me who that is, what his purpose is for us, or what his intentions were for all life on earth-----because I have no idea. But I'm smart enough to know that NO OTHER HUMAN KNOWS EITHER.

The TRUE answers will have to come from the "Creative entity"

the point for me is not the effectiveness or lack thereof of masks but some on this thread are so dull mentally they simply cannot get away from the small and see a concept of a bigger picture.
Covid does not give a damn about your mask. But by all means, wear one. It doesn't affect me in the least... but im not wearing one and it clearly doesn't effect you either. Stop pretending it does.

Justmemorph Totally agreed with this. I think the reason so many don't understand this is because they never took formal classes on biology, mirco-biology, infectious diseases and so they don't understand how it all works and thus they depend on the Government to hold their hand.

Should they simply be allowed to die because they have other problems , like a disability?

BUT THEY DID DIE ANYWAY------Didn’t they!

They died because in most cases the disability was self-inflicted.

I’m just referring to my country USA.

The majority of 80 plus year old people that died had respiratory problems because they smoked their whole life. Others had diabetes as an underling problem because they kept eating donuts in the morning for breakfast and pie with coke in the evening for dinner. Even though all our health advisers continually warn these people that their diet is going to kill them if they don’t make changes. It's what kills many every year here in the USA.

Heart disease: 659,041

Cancer: 599,601

Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 156,979

Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 150,005

Diabetes: 87,647

Also what about the strain on hospitals coping with so many people who are extremely ill needing expert nursing? The knock on effect of other patients not getting the care they need ,what about them ?

And this is what many see when their vision is Myopic.

In the USA, hospitals closed off all “Routine services” to people that needed life saving therapies like their Chemo Therapies. There were many young 28, 29, 30 plus young ladies with cancer who were refused their chemo treatment for their breast cancer. At first it was just supposed to be one month, then it turned into two months, then three, then indefinitely. Many- Many, young vibrant ladies died because they were refuse Chemo because the hospitals put the 80 -90 years old obese, diabetic smoker with Covid FIRST and rejected to help these young mothers with cancer.

As a result hundreds perhaps thousands of mothers died leaving children without mothers and husband without wives to help them raise the children.

And those 80 plus elderly with underline problems -----DIED ANYWAY.

And don’t get me started on the tons of children suicides because of the lock down for over a year.

The thousands of broken families because they lost their means of making a living because of the lock down, and as a result losing their home and becoming homeless.

Why has this happened?

Because the governing leaders wanted to lock down the entire country to help the 80, 90 plus years old people who smoked, drank, pigged out on food and became obese and ignore the young people with real problems like cancer, heart problems, depression.

A lot of my neighbors in my block are old people in their 80s, 90s. And most of them got Covid. They were sick a few days and that was it. They didn’t need to go to the hospital for urgent care. But these neighbors of mine take care of themselves. Most have never smoked. All of them walk or run every day and include weight lifting in their exercise routine. None of them are obese, or diabetic. All of them know how to eat nutritional meals and avoid sweet sodas, candy, processed food, etc. The 90 year old couples look like they are in their fifties or sixties. Very little gray hair and all the men have a full head of hair.They are healthy as heck because they treasure life and take care of themselves.

If you think the lock down was instituted to HELP the elderly, think again, the governing leaders never intended to help the elderly.

The lock down had a different agenda.

Either way we are saying good bye to this virus problem this year.

Rocketman, I sometimes wonder if there was REALLY A VIRUS PROBLEM.

Looking over the CDC's website on what caused the death of someone who died of Covid, in most cases it was the underling conditions that cause the death of 99 percent of the people that died of Covid.

The persons that are dying had hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, pulmonary disease, etc, or were just old and in bad health. Covid was just a stronger flu that all these people with health problems to begin with just needed that extra push to die and Covid provided that extra push.

But on the death Certificate, they put Covid as the cause of death when in reality it was the underling condition or just plain old age and bad health that was the real cause of death.

For healthy people Covid was not a problem. When I got Covid, I was sick for a day. All my friends my age were sick at most for two days. Covid was no a problem for us in any way. Covid was just flu that was exploited by the politicians.

I think our political leaders are using this to push their political agenda.

I will point out one small thing - the Catholic Church rejects the concept of Sola Scriptura. The Church (Catholicism) does not believe the Bible should be taken literally in most aspects.

The Catholic Church openly accepts evolution. Much of the Old Testament is looked at as merely allegorical works that contain some wisdom. There was even a Pope that stated that Christianity is not the only way to worship God.

That being the case, if 1.4 billion Catholics don't view the Bible as the infallible source of authority for Christian faith and practice-------to whom do they turn for Godly instruction?????

Good question. I use to think it was possible, but no so anymore. That's why we have lawyers.

Maybe they can only handle one major change at a time.

I've actually been thinking about this. From tons of experiences I've read, it seems that when a jw finds out something that they believed is wrong like 607 BCE being a wrong date, It takes quite a while to digest. Sometimes close to a year of research. Not because it's hard to understand, but because of the SHOCK of finding out they were wrong. It's hard to believe because of all the implications that it entails.

No 607, means no last days. No last days means not being part of the Great Crowd that will survive the end of this system of things. Maybe just maybe, there is no paradise earth. That's kind of hard to swallow if a person has believed that for 40 or 50 years.

That being the case maybe it's just better not to continue the research and keep believing that the promise of everlasting life is TRUE and everything else is Satanic lies.

Then a life time passes you by and at the very end of your life you finally accept that it was all a a fairy tale.

Not a good way to end your life.

I always wondered about Ray Franz, -------now I know!

Perhaps if Ray F. would have woke up in his early age, it would have taken him down a different path.

There were many times we would sit down together and have discussions on the Bible and the bible God Jehovah or YHWH.

I would point out to him certain obvious facts on why it is impossible for the bible to be God’s word.

For example; An almighty God who treasures TRUTH, would never direct men to write a book that has been responsible for so much Christian disunity that teaches different doctrine.

Or that is responsible for the creation of many destructive religious cults.

Out of the 2.4 billion Christians in the world, about 1.1 billion are Catholic, with another 800 million being Protestant. There are another 300 million or so other forms of Christianity, such as Orthodox. All these different forms of Christianity CLAIM THAT THE BIBLE IS GOD’S INSPIRED WORD, and they follow it.

Then we discussed the obvious accounts in the bible that the God of the Bible is not a God of love but when examined closely, has all the qualities of a true psychopath.

Psychopath; A person who engages repeatedly in criminal and antisocial behavior without remorse or empathy for those victimized.

Jehovah kills 70,000 innocent babies, mothers, fathers, grandparents, newly-weds, etc. because HE got pissed of that David took a census.

Jehovah Misleads his faithfuls servants, all Israel into a war that take approx. one million innocent children, women, mothers, fathers, grandparents and animals. (Last three chapters of Judges) Which could have easily been solved by Jehovah sending one angel to kill the men who raped the woman.

Jehovah Kills his faithful servant for eating bread and drinking water but lets wicked Jeroboam who seduced 10 tribes of Israel to worship calves and was responsible for tons of human deaths.

Jehovah allows wicked angels to materialize and rape beautiful women, and influence men to be wicked, then kills all men, women, and children on the entire planet, plus all the innocent animals with a global flood, but allows the wicked angels who caused the problem to begin with, back into heaven.

And I could go on all night giving examples of this bible God being more wicked than the worse human who has ever lived.

So last weekend this acquaintance surprised me and came knocking on my door. I hadn’t seen him in years. Told me that years back his wife went to the store in the evening to get some things and on leaving the store, some men grabbed her and violently raped her. She was never the same after that, and eventually committed suicide.

This event led to a deep self examination. What was troubling was that he had served this God of the bible, Jehovah, defended him on tons of websites, and had done this all his life, and yet HE didn't even have the decency to just help a little with his wive???

This Almighty God who with the flick his finger could have stepped in just a little and perhaps have a policeman, or a bystander help his wife just this once.

He said that for years he tried to justify the MURDEROUS ACTS that Jehovah committed in the bible. He always reference bible scholars or bible apologists, that fed his biased bible views.

Then he finally told me that when he left the Watchtower, he left the building, but deep in his heart, he still remained a Jehovah Witness, but with the idea that Jehovah was personally looking out for him and giving him TRUE Understanding of the Bible. He joined lots of exjw pro-bible websites and tried to help them trust in the bible.

Then he said; “I should have known better. Why did I continue to worship the same God who allowed me, my wive and my family to be sucked into a religious cult?”

Why is it that finally after all these years, after losing my wife, and now that I’m old and death is just around the corner, I come to the realization that the God of the Bible is just a Deity that was made up by ignorant ancient people.

All those qualities he has, are HUMAN QUALITIES.

His murderous acts should have woken me up, but I guess I JUST WANTED TO BELIEVE THE LIE.

Any other reason why some exjws after years of being trapped in a cult still believe in the God of the Bible who made it possible for cults like the Watchtower to exist and trapped them and their family for years?

Texas had decided to open up the State to business and remove the mandate of wearing masks.

Biden and many other Democrats called the Governor of Texas a Neanderthal with Neandethal thinking who is trying to kill American citizens and he should instead continue the lockdown for another year or two.

The Texas Governor said no so the Biden administration is directing illegal immigrants with Covid to Texas to try to ruin the Texas plan to open up the State for business.
