Missdasilva has to be very careful not to influence anyone to getting shunned when they don’t have to.
Its a better option to leave where you don’t get shunned end of.

My decision.

i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.
amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.

Maybe last years was the last one ever published.
They have probably been trying to decide how they can massage the numbers or just blatantly lie. Or don’t release it.
I remember last years was showing decline overall, most countries showing big declines.
The entire organisation is in decline, Bethelites all being laid off. Bethels downsizing selling KHs. Hardly print anything these days.
Congregations merging, sharing less KHalls. Hardly anyone coming into JWs anymore and now even young ones not wanting to get baptised.
The org is in big decline so either lie or don’t release the numbers

they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.
i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

I could say Jan: I attend a JW Kingdom Hall with my family. I am not a believer, but I do enjoy the conversation, interpretation and the music (we have a choir and instrumental section).
I also like being part of the community with other families and some really great folks. Maybe some of them are like me and don’t believe but we keep it to ourselves

A City Having Real Foundations.
by LostintheFog1999 insomeone asked me recently when did i start to have doubts as an elder about what i was teaching from the platform.. i have given it a lot of thought and i can say that it was when i was delivering a public talk about the book of hebrews.
so i paused and read it again.. i looked at the audience and said to them let's look at the cross-reference for this verse which is hebrews 12:22 and i read that verse.
after which i remember saying "and this is how the outline puts it.... " and i read from the outline verbatim.. abraham was not looking forward to an earthly kingdom hope.

there are many ways to support heaven for some but there are many ways to reason the Bible promises earth for some as well

I also think it’s a mistake to get shunned. There is no need for it these days, it’s better to fade where you don’t get shunned.
weddings, funerals or any other situation where you run into a witness will be far easier

My father exactly the same, standing order £100 per month even though it’s a struggle.
only pension income now but the will is give the house to the Borg
I have heard of others contesting the will privately so the elders don’t find out but the branch has top lawyers on this sort of thing.
I remember some stories of adult children saying their parents were brainwashed cult members and contesting the will, I would love to hear some successful accounts of them winning and the will going to family instead of the cult

there is a spirit in various religions that confirms they are true to people
by enoughisenough ini just watched youtube warwick pimo -2 videos which i will link if you care to watch them for context.
he shows clips of various people starting to get involved in various religions and they are all saying basically the same thing- a feeling coming over them and that is how they knew they had found the truth...very interesting!
the first experiences are of jw, but other religions follow if you watch the 2 videos.

What is annoying is how they don’t address these problems. They have spread a fear not to ever say anything bad the Organisation just like it would be sinning against the Holy Spirit.
Then things can be forgotten about.
I fear this will happen about the vaccines now. Soon it will be common knowledge the truth about the covid vaccines were not safe or effective. But nobody will ever talk about how the GB were so wrong with their direction
