  Questions for Jehovahs Witness's (From a Christian)

  hey all!just to start i want to let you know the reason i'm here is for a school project.the project is very simple.

  the goal is to learn about other religions.

  this information will only be used to inform not to spread hate, deceit, or insult.i have three general questions.

  The two salvations of JW have a complicated story. Old Russell believed all men would be raised to blessings in a golden age to come that he connected with the biblical millenium. The death and atonement af Jesus was the reason this is possible and it is in this basic sense that Jesus can be called saviour. There is no personal relation to Jesus, mankind is blessed based on the historic act of Jesus. The exception were the high calling little flock that in some strange way sacrificed themselves alongside Jesus and have him as advocate. But next president Rutherford changed that hippie stuff. Now those living that refuse to obey jw preaching lost their future blessings and that is the basic reason jws try so hard and are so strict

  Height of mountains before and after the flood .

  it was stated many years ago in answer to how did the flood cover the top of all the mountains on earth in noah`s day.?.

  mount everest ?.

  and it was explained away by saying that the mountains before the flood were a lot smaller / lower than the mountains that exist today.. so there was no problem .. when the deluge began with so much volume of water now covering the earth ( water being heavy ) pushed down into the weakest parts of the earth and raised up in other parts of the earth to where we now have higher mountains than existed before the flood of noah`s day.. in other words mount everest didn`t exist at its present height before the flood and neither did any other high mountain that exists today ,the topography all changed with the noachian flood.

  i came across this article about a dental technician forcing her religion down a patient's throat (literally).

  turns out the technician is a jw.

  it would appear she can count her time preaching to a captive audience and being paid on the job.

  I remember a few taxi drivers over the years, who used unpleasently loud gospel music as a means to start a religious conversation. I was later told they could get into trouble if I called the office and complained but of course as a strong free speech believer, I did not do that. I told them to turn down the volume and we talked

  I suppose a major motivation to join is the belief in jw being Bible truth. So to convert potential I would show the shortcomings of both JWism and orthodoxy socalled. Then they will godwilling be ready for Modalist Preterist Universalism
