Well it is a the choice between an economical prosperous future OR competing with Elon Musk. I think logically you have the same problem. 144,000 kings or billions. In either case, God is all in all 1 Cor 15:28, so it cant make much diff.

The Deity of Jesus Christ
by Reciprocity infair warning, i am not a jehovah's witness believer, but i am curious about what it is you believe and why you believe it.
so i am interested in talking to you instead of reading about you from my own christian perspective.
after all, who understands what jehovah's witness believes better than a jehovah's witness?

As God incarnate, Jesus is "my Lord and my God" (John 20:28). You have to realize the JW Arianism is not well supported by the scrip.

Billions or 144,000? what is the difference? Always room for one more

A Christian should not fear the future or look only to the future, except under persecution of course. A Christian is supposed to reign spiritually with Jesus (Revelation 1:6).

The "Trinity" is not Biblical.
by Revealed insimple.. you cannot find the word there (or many of the comical variations such as: a triune godhead, the triunity, co-equal god beings, godhead, a hypostaic union, divine essences, divine natures, a god-the-son, a god-the-ghost, hypostasis, homoousios, perichoresis , a godman, omnipresence, incarnation, a god who is a sacred mystery, a god 'in three persons', dual natures, a reincarnate god, a first person of the trinity, a second person of the trinity, a third person of the trinity, godness, a tri-unity or a multipersonal god), or any of the so-mentioned aspects.. jehovah identified himself (not 'themselves") as on one god, as did jesus and all the prophets.
.
so, come, let us know of the simple twists of the clergy!.

The better doctrine is called Oneness or Modalism. There is but one God, incarnate as Jesus Christ. Thus Jesus is not another god, and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all aspects of the one God.

I am curious about what my Bible study will reveal about current JW affairs. He tried to call me last week, but I did not get back to him. He claims JW life is much easier and freer now lol. I would say to the OP, that I think John 20:28 proves Jesus is either the one true God himself or fully indwelled by God as per 2 Corinthians 5:19. John 10:30 on the other hand is really not strong, Jesus prays the disciples will be one in John 17:21. In either case, and I say this as a liberal Christian, the basic problem for the JWs is that their religion picks scripture verses here and there but you can never find the JW story preached in the Bible. Trinitarians on the other hand, have a long tradition of claiming and pretending their doctrine is in the Bible. Sophisticated on the surface.

Evolution News: Humanlike Footprints in Crete Dated to 6 Million Years Ago!
by Disillusioned JW ini find it astonishing that humanlike feet could have existed that long ago.
i wonder if some non-human upright ape might have had that kind of feet that long ago.

This thread is funny, perhaps even historical. It is not everyday you see the credibility of evolution science compared to that of JW beliefs. I take it you guys are not Bible thumpers

That Russell did a lot of shopping around before he found doctrines to his liking is a down to earth story that I dont recall we ever were told. The JWs would rather imply that at the appropiate time, God raised this mighty student of the Word, "knowledge shall increase" Daniel 12:4, only to be surpassed by the modern JW.org.

Well to me the most fascinating about second chance / first real chance theology is how he and later Herbert Armstrong could teach this as a fact to his followers without explicit scriptural basis. The other basic doctrines of Russellism after all have some verses here and there that supports or appears to support them.
