so i received an email from one of the used-to-be jw friends that now pretty much ignore me.
it was haranguing me about "getting right with gee-ho'-vuh", and how imperative it was to "return to the organization".
it continued on with the worn out argument that "the faithful and discreet slave know what we must do in order to be safe and to live, as gee-ho'-vuh brightens the light to them.
Now we all know public protests just started to appear starting around 1914 and never before .
By the way the answer to the question is yes !
Protesting is a useful effective way to express opinions and ideologies which the public thinks that needs to be addressed toward the acting government, in other words its a voice.
today l received a hand written letter from my local kingdom hall .
l say my local as the one nearest me , for those who don't know me l am not nor have ever been a jw .
as this letter was addressed " to the householder " l assume that everyone in the area ( tamworth , staffordshire ) has been sent one .
Or maybe just make a brief note saying that JWS are noted as being false prophet charlatans whose doctrines are apostate in nature due to their opposition to Jesus and his instructions for preaching his new Kingdom Order.
The bible says in a warning in (1John 4:1) for so called preachers to see if they are saying things god didn't give them to say, calling them false prophets, JWS certainly makes that identity of being false prophets.
Jesus himself gave admonishment to his followers in making a time (1914) upon god's own sacred time.
Being subservient followers of the sinning unrighteous become sinning unrighteous themselves.

How Do You View The Future ?
Its just typical marketing ploy the JWS use to lure people to the WTS's literature and the organization.
See how bad world conditions are, this was prophesied in the bible but things will change soon when Jesus starts his new Kingdom order.

The ancients pleaded for help from their gods in the many perils we experience and endure today.
The greatest problem to this endeavor is that we have never truly witnessed a god or spirit but only in are imagination and ignorance.
i think it does especially being that this organization is rigidly structured itself on formulated doctrines from a top hierarchy of men which are strictly enforced, among other reasons.

a cult is not necessarily a religious group, although religious cults are common, including breakaway sects from more mainstream faiths.
All JWS to varying degrees are mentally indoctrinated to support the organization, its doctrines and its members.
Certainly the top GB men are strongly protected from scrutiny, that's probably why they get away with the most lies and corruption.
Its god's chosen organization dont you know.
To me its a training center for corruption, man handled to cultivate power and money for the men at the top..

for many it is very hard to let go of that life and those wasted years.. of course people need time to heal and this web site is a great place to do that, swap war stories and commiserate.. i was in for over 50 years.

the publications you read which are called spritual food from jehovah, are written by those who are supposed to be the closest to god and are anointed.
they claimed for decades to you that it was the creator's promise that those living during 1914 would live to see the fullfilment of the promise of a new earth.

i recently had the sad opportunity to attend 2 jw funerals.
the first was a few months ago and the second today.
the first was my grandfather's and the second of an old friend back from my jw days.
The JWS use the death of people as a exploitation vehicle to promote their resurrection doctrine and their religion as a whole.
Yes they talk a little about the individual and their service to Jehovah, talks, participation in the congregation so forth but I think they go overboard.
Most JWS funerals are attended by a portion of non JWS and the JWS intentionally use these events to lure people to the organization, kind of propaganda in action.
JWS funerals are designed and outlined by the WTS with a specific purpose in mind .
I think it would be better to talk a bit more of about the person by people who knew them and perhaps a little bit at the end about the resurrection doctrine.

I think its important to realize or reflect what was good about the organization.
There were set of rules of behavior and conduct that were enforced by elders and the guidelines set by the top leaders of the Org. that obviously had some practical goodness to them.
On the other hand some were actually quite damaging such as deaths for refusing a blood transfusion, the breaking up of families, to mention a couple.
Not everything outside the Org. is evil.
In a matter of fact there is evil situated in most religious organizations if you closely enough.
We should be now able to accept the fact that people can make their way in life in a wholesome way without relgoius indoctrination, yes it is possible.
