I'm gonna hafta go in Rachels back yard and git some dog poop and throw it at ya. Gumby
You might have to settle for squirrel poop, we don't have a dog.
so the prelude to this wee trip starts with work - doesn't it always.. as part of my recent job change i had to write a paper that needed agreement with most of the local authorities (health board, council - which is kinda like our version of city hall, etc.
) before it gets submitted to the ministers at the scottish parliment at the end of december.. well, after one long round of consultation (during which i produced a 39 page consultation document), another few weeks creating the first draft (another 27 pages) i was all ready to go to press the next day when i got an eleventh hour email (at 5:30pm, just before i went home).
it changed everything!

Actually that reminds me, can you get me details of that neighbouring church. If I get the opportunity I'd like to speak to them about the WTS.
~sigh~ OK
I'll send it to you later, they are in my rolodex for when I have a complaint......

It's a trick! The Seattle Post Xmas Extravaganza is really a Little Toe Crusade. We've been bamboozled!
.
i am curious: any here believe that jesus could have been married to mary magdalene?
.
Thanks for the tip Xena...I just put a hold on it at the library. Celestine Prophecy is dragging and I need something new. I also put a hold on Celia's recommendation...that one I have to wait in line for.
i bought this new dell computer last december after my gateway crashed.
i have hated it since day one.
it's just so damn slow.
Thanks Poztate. I went to the startup menu and it wasn't there so I was wondering what was up with that.
It's not a big deal. Kind of irritating but now that things are zooming along faster, I can deal with it.

Take it off your Start Up Menu.
And how would I do this? Keep it simple...I'm lazy and won't do it if you don't make the instructions simple.

no clue how to do that confused...I'll work on it though. So, how do I get windows media player to stop popping up first thing when I boot? That drives me batty!

Kai's hair looks red in that pic...lucky boy. Liam is adorable...he's grown a bit since your avatar pic was taken.

Now, when I'm at your house, I might look stuff up.
M u s t r e m e m b e r t o l o g o u t !!! I'll come home to a "Isn't Mulan the most fabulous poster?" thread
It's great. Not lightspeed fast but I'll sure take it over the old. Now I have to clean up all this remodel mess to make room for new computer #2.

I bought this new Dell computer last December after my Gateway crashed. I have hated it since day one. It's just so damn slow. I've spent the last year tearing my hair out waiting for it to boot up (15 mintutes) load programs (had time to get a cup of coffee) and such. I spent too much money to have these kind of irritations! The thought of spending hours on a tech line kept me from doing anything about it.
Last week I wanted to chuck it out the window so I finally called the only number I could find which happened to be warranty extension (yeah, right). I told him my problem and he looked me up and discovered I had only 128RAM...the bare minimum necessary to run Windows XP. WTF? Why didn't the guy who sold it to me tell me? I would have upped it if he had bothered to tell me it was barely adequate. mumble grumble So he sets me up with a 512RAM card which I finally installed this evening. I knew we nailed the problem when it booted up in less than a minute. Only cost $120 something too.
w00t! w00t!
