I think there are far more important issues in this life to worry about than rather a dog gets killed or not.
If people are so concerned about stray dogs in Brazil, one would hope that the issues of abandoned street kids/domestic abuse/aids etc have been addressed, otherwise people have some weird priorities.

Any pics you can get of the damage is good, get as much evidence as you can. Make records of all contact you have with the landlord/managers and what is said to whom.
I truly sympathise with you. I used to live in a place with terrible mould on the ceilings. The roof tiles were cracked and rain would literally run down a lounge-room wall. The landlord got onto the roof one day and claimed he couldn't find any broken tiles. Yet the peeling paint on the lounge room wall was more than enough evidence of the rain coming through.

i don't know what's happened ... but whenever he plays on the xbox driving games he now puts on a very good 'american' accent.

the only thing we can think of is that he's picked it up from his cousin who was over a few weeks ago and they played on it together quite a bit (liam get's on really well with him even though he's about 5 years older).. on reflection i guess it is a bit more canadian than american so i am not as worried about it (

Well, I'm not married and never have been, but I'll put in my 2 cents. If I was married and sex was non-existant, I'd be starting to look for another partner. Sex is a natural part of life, especially that of married life. Sure, problems can come up that temporarily interfere with the normal process, especially when kids come into the picture, but if my partner was refusing sex on purely selfish grounds then I'd be looking for another partner.

yesterday evening i took jennie & jackson to journey of hope, which is a grief support group for families who have lost loved ones, aimed particularly at the children.
i was thinking we might be past the need to go, because jennie & jackson seemed to be doing well, and i was feeling better about dad's death.
the children were asked to draw pictures: on one side of the paper they were to draw the bad things that happened last year, and on the other side of the paper what they wanted to be good or fix this year.. when my group joined the others downstairs, jennie ran to me and said jackson was crying and couldn't stop.
Even though I'm repeating what the others have said - you're a great mum, Nina!
It's great that we have the freedom to guide and direct future generations in a way so different from that had we still remained JWs. The freedom to allow them to reason and come to understandings with the gentle guidance (not brainwashing) of their parents.
It's great that there are resources these days to help kids deal with grief (and for adults too!).
