you are dishonest, and have misrepresented my words. you have also completed twisted the meanings of words in an attempt to not say jesus was racist. you brought up abraham and insisted he had faith which i showed to be unfounded, and you could not dispute this by way of a scripture. i stated the abrahamic covenant was racist, and that jesus was participating in a race inspired mission. i answered many questions, you failed to simply address mine. its dishonest to answer a question with a never ending barrage of other stories. i never asked why jesus was preaching i was simply highlughting that incident. the gospel writers apparently are not ashamed of it either, they are proud of jesus attitude that is why they included as part of the details that she was smamaritan etc. if the story was just about jesus healing ability then it doesnt matter where she was from. the fact race was mentioned was an imoortant part of jesus attitude and how he handled the situation.

yes we all know there have been many false prophecies published by wts.

im asking do they make this outrageous claims as part of attempt to attract new members?

im aserting its a big gamble that often works, but has backfired.

yes jts funny how jesus in mt 24 with his fds speech and peter and paul are obsessed with telling slaves to be good, peaceful and taxes. there are other scriptures where they encoursge cooperation with roman authorities if yiu want i can show them.

jesus, peter and paul are inventions they never existed. their stories were made up by romans.

are you blind? habe you honestly read the bible. nearly every page we see the worst crimes, most vile heroes, cruel perverted laws and then we are told its from god. theres very little god to be learnt from the good book. theres a famous quote that anyone who followed the ot would be a criminal and if they followed the nt thery would be insane.

there are entire books in the bible that NEVER say anything good and yet are remain filled with hatred, racism, violence, genocide etc. if you wamt links just ask. the bible has nothing positive to teach us today, its the product of anckent men with an agenda. the fact it contains no prophecy and contains many lies and frauds demonstrates this. again i can show you these if you want.

the three kings are in the belt of orion, they always point to sirius around xmas. jesus was born when we entered the age of pisces. the end of the age we see in the gospels is talk about the end of aquarius. there is a lot of symbolism which is all the zodiac.

the jews were very much into reading the stars. the passover is when the sun passes over the horizon as it travels bewteen the tropic of capricon in winter to the tropic of cancer in summer. easter is of course the spring equinox.

firstly there were no christians in rome at the time of nero. thats a lie invented by the catholic church along with their lies about st peter and the vatican.there is no archeological proof for christians in rome.if there were thousands in rome, their meeting places etc have not been found.

part of the confusion surrounds chrestus. chrestus is not the same as christians. the words mean different things.we have the same refereence in jospehus. we must also remember there were many false messiahs or christs at the time, they were many jewish rebel leaders back then. dont believe all these messiah references were about christ they were probably sbout the jews.

again you ignore the message. the gospels tell us to bnlame the jews for killing christ. take a look at john its mentioned many times, the romans are never blamed once. so they killed jesus so what, the story of submission is still there.

jesus was created to convince jews a messiah did come and his message was subjection to rome. all the other messiahs were to use a modern term terrorists. they literally killed anyone who tried to coexist with the roman overlords. it is obvious that rome knew religion coyld be used as a weapon to change the thoughts of the common man. the jewish rebellion was actually started by the son of the high priest when he killed some high ranking roman who tried to offer a sacrifice in the temple. its ibvious the rebellion and religion were closely linked. the ot is full of hatred and nsurgency type propaganda. the scripture about plowhears is probably the one nice thing in isaiah. only a page away we have lots of hilteresque mad curses. its there in isaiah he says they will eat their children after sashibg their heads on rocks etc.

constantine was not the first god emperor. julius was promoted to divinity by the roman senate three hundred and fifty years before. many cvultures saw their rulers as divine or sons of gods. by proclaiming themselves to be gods the romans were merely demanding equal respect and obedience which helps when so many subjects live in poverty and cruelty. one cant help see the same pattern in the ot, where solomon, david do as they wish and treat subjects like fools who work and pay taxes. notice that followers are always in submission to god, the wording is very powerful in revealing the true relatuonship.

this thread is for everybody and everybody is welcome to comment on it .

however i'm going to direct my thoughts and comments in this initial post to lurking jehovah's witnesses who may read on this board and may be sitting on the fence pondering on whether to stay in the jehovah's witnesses organization.

also to newer members who may have joined the board.. in this latest 4/15 wt in the article , " jehovah knows how to deliver his people " it conveys the thought that only the wt society ( through god's help ) will be guiding any jw's through the alleged " armageddon " considered god's war against the wicked.

actually recorded the entire siege of jerusalem. titus gave them opportunities to surrender but they refused. not everyone inside wanted to fight of course but several rebel groups remained mixed up inside. in the beginning these rebels were fighting each other and the romans.after sometime they did join forces but they still lost. cannabalism was rampant because the hostages had no food and couldnt get out. throughout this tragedy the rebels went about burning food and killing those who didnt want to fight. it has been argued that the eurachrist is a remembrance of the cannabalism. hundreds of thousands died in jerusalem. those false messiahs really did bring armageddon to jerusalem back then.
