  Before we go down the government in(action) rabbit hole pls answer my question:

  If you chose to hold a minority view (3%) then you should explain why you know better than 97% of climate scientists. I haven't seen your explanation yet.

  I dont believe, because governments dont believe. If they did they would change something. Sure its getting warmer slowly, but nothing is constant stuff goes up and down. There are a zillion factors, im not a scientist and its far more cmplex than the simplifications presented here. The fact is some of the graphs include projections for 2010 and where made years before, and guess what they are wrong. There are also graphs on this very thread that have conflicting temps for the same years.

  I dont blieve climate change is as simple as carbon from man's activities. Like i said if it were that simple and the future waas that grim then surely one gov would change their ways but there hasnt been one.

  Agh back to authority again. Its interesting you never touched why gov do nothing about changing our ways. thats the real q i want to know. It sounds hypocritical to claim one thing and then almost completely ignore it in the grand scheme of things when it comes to legislation and action.

  So why are govs blind ? They claim the train is about to go off a cliff but they do nothing to stop it ?

  You have asked why temperature has varied over geologic time frames before human activity. I have explained how that works, and provided links for further reading.

  So basically the best you can do is appeal to authority. You cant actually take a look at any data and talk it thru.

  Isnt real science looking at data and understanding what it says, and yet you cant actually do any of that. YOu show me a 100 years of temps as proof, and say thats proves it but when i look back 10000 years thats not enough there are excuses. That hardly sounds solid and your selective authority to some data and not others seems weak.

  Anyway we had warmer temps before and we survived. Like i said before govs have not tried to do anything about it.

  today mon.16 sept.marks the first day of the inquiry opening to public submissions .

  ( i hope i have worded that right ) and i`m sure someone will tell me if i didnt, and rightly so as its an important step in this enquirey.. from today submissions are being heard from organisations that held responsibility for children in their care such as the ymca , boy scouts , girl guides , etc.etc.. apparently religous institutions will be heard at a later date.. note : this is the chance for the public to air their concerns , and from what i hear, their are thousands of submissions already on the table.. i think this will go on for at least the middle of next year if not longer.. smiddy.

  it does not need to how powers to prosecute, but it would be nice if the police took notes and charged the parties themselves. That is their job, to watch out for stuff like this or listen to the public. I mean if someone admits fault and presents evidence of a crime to any public or gov body then the police should take an interest and grab them. If tghey dont then the entire exercise is a waste of time because it changes almost nothing.

  First of all none of us know who climatesight is. That article is barely above high school level. it doesnt discuss the very question you attemptd to answer about the higher temps 10000-5000 years ago.

  Come one do better. The 97% img has no citation. Couldnt you pick something a little more reputable. Its mostly filled with assumptions and theres no a single quote to anything.

  Yes there are many factors, im glad you agree. You didnt explain or prove that this time is different, but only filled your reply with basic stuff everybody knows. Just telling me about volcanos doesnt really add weight to your argument. There were volcanos 5000 years ago just like now.
