During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
So you won't die, you'll just wish that you could ... kind of like when you're at the meetings.
i've heard people here say jw's believe that jehovah will slaughter non-members of the jw religion when armageddon comes any day now.
does the watchtower teach that jehovah himself will do the killing, or is it delegated to someone else like jesus, satan, angels, or humans killing each other?
who is the actual killer in the picture?

my father in law's sow has been a pioneer for what...twenty plus years now?
she has yet to see any of her studies progress to baptism.
i know this is an excellent thing but to jw's you would think it would be tragic.
“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”
So according to scripture, after one year with no fruit they should be (figuratively speaking) cut down.

Who's suggesting a vegan diet?
Vitamin B-12 is manufactured by friendly bacteria in the intestinal tract. This is true for all vegetarian animals, including human beings. I've known a few people deficient in B12, they(my brother, father-in-law, and a good friend) were all big meat eaters.
A deficiency of Vitamin B-12, which is a forerunner of pernicious anemia, is not necessarily due to dietary inadequacy. A report released from a Vitamin B-12 Conference stated, "Pernicious anemia appears to arise not from shortage in the diet, but from impairment of the ability to absorb Vitamin B-12." (Proceedings of the Nutrition Society, 71st Scientific Meeting, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, January 5, 1952, p. 295)
i'd just stand at the door and not knock on it or ring it.
if someone came, i'd make a presentation - "here's your tract!".
otherwise i'd just wait a couple of minutes and then go to the next door and not knock.. .
I always went with someone. I preferred someone else do the lying.

Here's a hint, this isn't for berry harvesting:
No, they're not. But the fact remains, you don't know exactly what they were used for, and therefore can't prove anything with them. For all we know they could have been used to defend the tribe while collecting berries?

Which facts?
Note: There is no useful, meaningful, or even vaguely-scientific anatomical/physiological/biochemical definition of "omnivore". Is my dog an omnivore because he eats an apple every now and then?

Before I left the JWs I started asking questions. Your post describes exactly how devout JWs responded when I asked difficult questions.
Mostly when I asked questions they said they'd get back to me. On the rare occasion they did get back to me, they had multiple pages of printed material from the Watchtower CD ROM, which didn't even address the original question.
My advice on JW critical question asking is:- you'd be wasting your time.

All I'm saying is going back ten thousand years (or more) isn't necessary to prove that the current western diet is very unhealthy. Yes, I agree our ancestors ate meat. However, beyond 100 years ago the quantity and frequency of meat consumption was much less than it is today. And of course there are much worse things than meat such as dairy based food, refined foods, which were never part of our ancestor's diet. That’s something I think we can both agree on.

@still thinking
...and we have had thousands or years to adapt to our diet...and now...it is our diet.
No. The current western diet is less than one hundred years old. Go back in history a more than that and you'll see that the quantity of meat consumed has nearly doubled in that period. Also the amount of refined foods, and dairy has nearly tripled, while vegetables and whole food consumption has decreased.
But to claim that we shouldn't eat it[meat] is stretching it don't you think?
I don't think I ever claimed that anyone shouldn't eat meat. I'm claming that the evidence shows meat should be a very minor part of a healthy diet.
