Mark 7:15
There is not [even] one thing outside a man which by going into him can pollute and defile him; but the things which come out of a man are what defile him and make him unhallowed and unclean.

Sunday's Talk
by biometrics inso my wife has started going to sunday meetings again.
when she returns home i ask her what she learned.. yesterday's talk was about "putting up with brothers and sisters who suffer depression" (in my wife's words).
this confirms my suspicions that there's a high percentage of jws who suffer from depression disorders.

So my wife has started going to Sunday meetings again. When she returns home I ask her what she learned.
Yesterday's talk was about "putting up with brothers and sisters who suffer depression" (in my wife's words). This confirms my suspicions that there's a high percentage of JWs who suffer from depression disorders. In my opinion living as a JW possibly causes depression.
This is worth a read. It almost perfectly describes the behaviour of most Jehovah's Witnesses I've known.

Wouldn't every religion be a cult according to the dictionary defintion of 'cult'?
Cult (noun) - 1. a system of religious veneration and devotion directed towards a particular figure or object.
Does anyone have a better definition?

The bathroom wasn't free and nature's call was becoming too insistent?
Not likey. He was about 200 meters from his house. And he was outside his fully fenced yard. There's 100s of places he could have releived himself that would have been more private. Also, he has quite a big house. So there's at least two bathrooms.

Which country is better to migrate Canada or Australia?
by His Excellency ini am sure nowhere is perfect but if we want to compare these two countries from different prospectives like racism, job, income/spending, quality of life, standard of living etc.
can you please give me a rough idea by sharing your experiences.. .

Black skinned people need greater exposure to sunlight to produce the correct levels of vitiman D. I'd be seeking a country with a lot of sun.

Maybe he was not wearing his underwear.
You can almost guarantee he wasn't. He said when he saw me "Hi, <biometrics> - you've caught me out here in my PJ's. It's rather embarrising"

His house is right next to the bush. So snooping isn't plausible, there's no one there especially at 6:30 AM.
From the time I spotted him till I reached him was about 3-5 minutes of walking. In that time he was just standing there. It was very strange to see somone behaving like that. It's hard to describe, but if you were there you would understand what I mean. I initially thought he was a theif scoping the elder's house.
It would have been fun to say, as we parted - "Don't forget Proverbs 21:9"

Funny situation. An elder lives around the corner from me. I walk my dog past his house daily.
Early this morning the elder was in the bush wearing his PJ's for no apparent reason. He looked startled when he saw me.
The bush track runs past his house.
When he noticed me walking toward him, he started pretending to pick up sticks. But it was obvious that wasn't what he was there for.
The only logical conclusion I can make is he'd had a recent argument with his wife and decided to 'get some fresh-air'.

When I was a kid attending the circuit assembly my JW friend would point out all the girls he'd messed around with from a former congregation. At the age of 14 he was also smoking, drinking, and listening to heavy-metal. All without his parents suspecting a thing. They had five boys in the family. Two weren't in "The Truth" so it wasn't too hard to avoid detection. My mum encouraged me to go to his place for association. Rather than spending time at "Worldly" kids places. The "Worldly" friends I had only did things like sailing, fishing, and camping.
