  It may be that I don't have any morals. But this discussion isn't about me, personally. It's about Metatron's hateful & groundless attacks on JW's. And it's about the chorus that chants in the back ground.

  The 6.5 million JW's who have beaten their swords into plowshares stand as a model for the rest of the world.

  I believe there are a lot of undecided lurkers who stumble onto this forum. They will NEVER enter into this discussion by posting their feelings. But, they ought to see that there is NO evidence that the Watchtower is a "wicked" organization.

  The day will come when people like Metatron and You will regret the things you are saying against these good people.

  You can do what you want. But you can't prove that they are a hot bed of child molesters, money hungry bunch of liars.

  But, you can show that some of their premises aren't found in the Bible and some of their conclusions don't follow from their premises.

  Do you see the difference. One is a matter of logic. The other is pure speculation.

  The reason I care about JW's is that I think they are an organization that has achieved what the rest of the world hasn't. 6.5 million people who refuse to go and fight over imaginary lines. 6.5 million is now more significant than ever. It is the size of the average member nation in the UN.

  As you know, one of the theories about how humans got to be so intelligent is so we could be good at hiding our intentions. Young children and people with very low IQ's seem to be much less hypocritical.

  I don't believe in Jehovah. There is a problem with which Jehovah to believe in. The blood thirsty ethnic cleansing Jehovah or the one who kills Christians that lie about how much they donate.

  I am not fond of these portrayals. I am basically an atheist. But I feel that JW's are not as bad as this forum tries to paint them. It is called "fairness". Are JW's fair? No. Is this forum fair? No. Am I fair. Yes!!

  Are there major falsehoods with JW's? Of course. That's true of ALL religions. The basic "god" premise is a falsehood. But no one will give that argument much attention because it is so politically incorrect. You can have major character flaws and be president of the US. But you can't be elected today if you are an atheist. Challenging Watchtower doctrine is a lot more effective than accusing them of being a bunch of money hungry, lying, child molesters. The 6.5 million JW's will not believe those accusations because you cannot prove those charges.

  To the 6.5 million JW's it's a "spiritual paradise". They have beaten their swords into plowshares. They love to hang around for an extra half hour after the meetings to chat with their brothers and sisters. Their social calendars are full.

Especially when I see the chorus that agrees with that? Has Metatron run out of real stuff so that he has to use his reliable old formula? Minimus' thing is questions. Farkels is swearing & leaving. Metatron's thing is Now JW's are really in trouble or Is this the worst? My thing is Jehovah's Witnesses aren't THAT bad.

  The "poor-me - all beat up by the Watchtower" attitude is what will get you in the looney bin.

  I personally don't put organizations on the same level as humans. That's a trick of the business world with their corporations. Organizations have no brains or heart. Like my dad used to say about the "body of elders" all body and no brain. After a certain point in my life I decided I wasn't going to be controlled by groups of people that are 2 for me and 3 against. No matter what organization you devote your time to - you're going to be disappointed if you expect them to behave like human beings - they're not.

  i have visited several churches with family and friends and this is something that i cannot get used to.

  i do not know if this is basically done in black churches or not ( i am aa) but it makes me a little uncomfortable.

  i will say that i have had feelings in these churches that i have never felt in the kh.

  Undaunted Danny:

  Bloody Ulcerative Colitis. Sounds like a wicked disease. Is there a cure for it? A lot of diseases have no cure. Life forces some people to be patient whether they want to be or not. All I know is I'm not going to get out of this life alive.

  Life isn't fair. Tough! That's the way it is. Jehovah feeds the sparows and I've seen plenty of them serving as food for my neighbors cat. The lillys of the field are clothed by Jehovah - unfortunately they're in the grass family and I'm alergic to them.

  I have no objection to bringing up Watchtower errors. But this whinning accomplishes absolutely nothing. It actually works against you. The only people who take mal-contents seriously are other mal-contents.

  The Watchtower seems to be weathering the molestation attack pretty well. The 6.5 million JW's don't seem to feel as Bill Bowen erroneously claims that they are a hot bed of child molesters.

  So what does he do with this talent? I would love to interview him. What has he done in front of YOU? Can he do it all the time? Or does he have to be in a special state of mind. Is he able to make comments about greek grammar etc.?

  It IS possible, perhaps to do this sort of thing. Unusual mental abilities are demonstrated by Idiot Savants. Some people can hear a complicated musical piece and play it without ever seeing the music or receiving formal training. Does this individual show any signs of Asbergers syndrome or perhaps some other Autistic tendencies?

  Does he enjoy the attention he gets from this ability?

  You seem to be a real gusher of hateful propaganda. And your chorus slurps it up.

  Get out your Watchtower CD. Look up the expression Wait on Jehovah. Check the context in which it is used. Tell us what you find. You won't do that because you are already meditating on your next propaganda piece. So I'll tell you what I found.

  I didn't do an exhaustive search but here goes.

  As an aid to endure persecution and injustice - Wait on Jehovah 13 times

  Learning patience in putting up with others - Wait on Jehovah 8 times

  Questions over doctrine - Wait on Jehovah 5 times

  Contentment with what you have - Wait on Jehovah 2 times

  So why do YOU use that phrase to attack the Watchtower. I am sure they aren't worrying about money. They have NEVER had enough money to do all the things they would like to do. That's the way it is when you are a non profit organization. NOTICE your admonition was "next time you PASS the contribution box". Why didn't you say "next time the contribution box is PASSED down you aisle.?

  There is ample evidence that the Israelites and Christians gave money to support their causes. Money comes from people NOT heaven.
