this morning the speaker was late and they had to change the wachtower study with the public talk.. the young elder introducing this, was maybe a bit nervous of this happening (although it is certainly not the first time this year), and told that the public intercourse of the wachttower study would be held first, instead of the public discourse.
I once interviewed a pioneer who said that he was pioneering because he felt it was the right thing to do while he was young and full of youthful virility, quickly corrected to vitality.
It was my best mate. For a second there was a look of total horror in his eyes and then I just burst out laughing and couldn't stop.
Fortunately our cong were howling too. I never let him forget it.

someone here suggested it, so i did it.. i printed up auld soul's easy to follow instructions to the un website and a website address for 'the guardian' article and put it in gas cap doors.
there are many that can be opened from the outside of the car.

When I'm in the hospital I go round all the magazine tables and remove all the WTs and AWs. When I've got a big bundle I take them to the car and put them in my re-cycling pile.
Ditto dentist and doctors surgery.

Under no circumstances should anyone who is not a pioneer be reading this book. Give it back immediately.
In order to qualify as a pioneer you should be doing 100, 90, 70 hours per month (note the speeding up as we approach the end)
a comment from a family member about an elder who quit attending meetings the other day was " oh they dont attend anymore, i dont think they're df'd but its known they started their own church".
ok so i didnt think much about it..other than it doesnt seem the sort of thing this fella would ever do.. .
but..today i read a story on freeminds ( will look for the link in a bit and will post it).
It's not uncommon for people leaving the Witnesses to meet in small study groups. I was part of one and it was excellent at that stage in my journey.
Didn't feel any urge to form our own church. Like "The REAL Truth Church!!!"

often i wonder what i would be doing or even where would i be living, if i would have never met the jw's back in the late 80's.. maybe it wouldn't have made any difference, or on the contrary, maybe a huge difference.
the only way to really know would be to go back in time and change what happened and that's impossible.. .
