Amusing clip where Yahweh answers yes to all prayers.
so my father, who is an active jehovah’s witness, told me yesterday of an experience currently doing its rounds amongst the witnesses in relation to cart witnessing.
there is a bridge called ‘the bridge’ which is a well known place for people committing suicide.
apparently the jws have been setting up there literature carts there for a while now and ever since they have there has been no more suicide attempts from the bridge.
my personal experience.
i was born as jehovah's witness.. i was baptized at the age of 10.. i was reproved at the age of 10.. i later served as a regular pioneer at the age of 16.. i woke up to the truth about the truth at the age of 17.. i attended my pioneer service school at the age of 18.. i disassociated from the jehovah's witness religion at the age of 19.. i went to higher education at the age of 21..
This is the perfect example of why 10 year olds should never get baptized.
what is the strangest picture drawn or other you ever saw in a jw article?.
I 'll bet that most of the zombies in the Kingdumb hall today have never seen that magazine, and if they did see it, they would dismiss it as "old" truth. This was most all they emphasized in the 70,s and 80,s, so much so that I just knew it would be lie that would unravel them. How many left the truth from this teaching?
a pastor lovingly approaches a jw.
granted the jw is not that that willing, knowledgeable or eloquent.
but he does succeed in getting her to open up.
Looks like the beach across from foodland in Pupukea on the North Shore, Oahu
my little bethel bird has whispered in my ear some encouraging news.
it has been reported to the canadian branch that some witnesses doing cart work had police stop them from carting in public parks.
the direction sent to the southern ontario congregations is to cease carting until further notice.. this is no joke.. have a jw-free day..
I was at the nursing home recently and have witnessed first hand how they are getting their BS (bible study) hours in. They are wheeling quite a few into the lunch room and have a study there, talk about a captive audience, more than half have dementia and others can't communicate well.
from the shepard the flock book.

i'm a current bible student of jw's looking to chat with someone about biblical doctrine.
i'm not interested in talking with an apostate or a fader, i'm just a person looking for answers and wondered if there are any neutral voices in this forum who have good insights into the bible.
i currently talk with a couple of jw's on a personal level from my congregation and they are knowledgeable to a certain extent, but i dare not ask them certain questions because, as you know, the congregation has a culture of fear that impacts trust and openness, especially concerning biblical doctrine or the societies teachings.
Mel, hello??? gone??? adios, mel , mel
i was thinking about how the borg screws up and sexually neuters their flock by telling them when single to "deaden their body" and then boom as soon as there's a ring on the finger to not be denying eachother.. do any of you know of jws who have been screwed up by these teachings?
i know 2, 1 elder came back from honeymoon having a nervous breakdown unable to cope with the cd that sex produced in his head.
and the other called up her parents while on honeymoon, crying and begging for themto come and get her, since she was so shocked that sex hurt.
This is not unique to JW,s, I had a schoolmate that was a methodist who got married at 18 and on her marriage nite ran away and went home to her mom cause she did not want to do"it"
