I saw a 2 minute story on One America News Network about the JW,s owing $2million in fines but didn't hear the story cause we had company and I was unable to turn it up. This news channel usually repeats its stories , so I set the dvr to record and as yet 9 days later have not seen a repeat of the story, odd indeed .

No more talk about the Org. regarding Sexual abuse on this site ....what happened ???

it seems everyone is being exposed except the org...oh yes it's mentioned here and there but then it fades away...many celebrities are being exposed....& gov't officials and even our president, but not the org...ummmm.... thoughts ?.

I have a phobia of seeing Watchtowers and Awake mags in public places like laundromats and Hospital waiting rooms. My BP goes up and the only way I get it to go away is to approach the offending magazine, pick it up and dispose of it in the nearest receptacle.

Thanksgiving Eve--Misadventure at the Airport
by TerryWalstrom inthanksgiving eve episode____it's every man's fantasy getting to lure his ex-wife out into oncoming traffic.i, my friends, am here to tell the story.___outside the airport terminal, where the hurly-burly of the madcap pre-holiday passengers, reunions, luggage, and shoving clash;there, in a frenzied, herculean effort to get into and out of the hell-zone of airport chaos; my former spouse and i (hefting a 90lb chunk of luggage with it's too short "long handle" and "rollers" (probably square wheels) had but one simple task to accomplish.. "what is this task", i hear you asking?.
my ex and i had to cross the kill zone of traffic which loops around the airport (craftily named "terminal") like the river styx, and reach the "garage a" parking lot to fetch the car and go back into the hellish nightmare to retrieve her parents.sounds pretty simple, eh?you fools!
!____my brilliant plan was noble, altruistic, and lunatic.by saving her parents the ridiculous journey to the garage on foot, through trial and travail, we could escape the riot of airport insanity faster than otherwise.

And that,s my friend is why we started using this service each time we fly to and from DFW, to save aggravation from all involved. It,s amazing how they know their way around the multiple "terminals" and we can sit and relax as they smile and work us for a good tip...

by careful ina new book has just been published called the oxford handbook of the bible in america.
in it is an article by michael gilmour, professor of new testament at (the evangelical) providence university college in manitoba, canada, on jws and the nwt.
that's chapter 41. but that is not the only time jws are brought up.

How many faithful old JW`s are now living in Christendoms retirement homes not being cared for by the religion they gave their life for.
by smiddy3 init must be pointed out in favour of christendoms religions that they do not discriminate against people regarding their religious beliefs.
many old age jehovah`s witnesses are residents of christendoms age care homes.. isn`t this a conunudrum ?
they, jw`s condemn christendom as part of the world empire of false religion and they cast off their old faithful members to their enemy christendom , to look after them without lifting a finger themselves.. in the meantime they are raking in millions of dollars $$$$ in selling off real estate properties in new york and elsewhere around the world.

I know a JW lady in her 80,s with dementia that I observe when I visit my mom, who now enjoys participating in singing Methodist,s hymns ( most seniors enjoy this). Last visit I went to youtube and played a popular JW cult song and played it near her, then showed it to her and she showed no signs of recognition. Just shows there is hope for those still in ( if you get dementia).

Ironic that one of his first stories is one that can't be verified was about someone who studies trees and thought a story in the awake was so accurate that he assumed everything else they print must be accurate too, so he came into the troof. These kind of "stories" are so shallow that the only ones to believe this are the R&F. After this fabrication, Splain started another "Lets Suppose" tale (like his explanation of the overlapping generation) and I had to just turn it off, sorry.

True or False did the Watchtower Corporation create false doctrines intentionally to enhance the proliferation of their own publications ?
by Finkelstein inmuch as been revealed over the years to the date setting doctrines made by the wts.
such as ( 1874, 1914, 1925 , 1975 this generation, the last days, the end times etc.... which were not created by other christian based faiths.. as to critically examine why might reveal a hidden agenda to all these date setting proclamations.. the point in question is did the wts and its leaders intentionally manipulate or exploit the preaching of the gospel to enhance the proliferation of their own printed publications ?.
i would say convincingly yes, no question.

I remember reading years ago maybe it was William Schneil,s book "30 years a watchtower slave". Where Russell was quoted that if 1914 did not usher in the end of gentile times, that it would be an "iirrepairable wreck" if the end did not come in 1914.

"Armageddon is already here"; "the preaching work is done" -- rogue teachings in your congregation?
by FatFreek 2005 inone of my jw sons seems to be putting pressure on his non-jw brother apparently to scare him into accepting the troof and start coming to meetings.
wild statements like our topic title, which i know are not supported at jw dot org, have been made to my non-jw son several times over the past year or so.
while i haven't been privy to the actual phone conversations i tend to believe that the jw son is being pressured by the local elders to cut ties with the non-jw since their conversations seem to degrade into arguments -- therefore tending to weaken the jws faith in wt teachings.. either my jw son is lying about what i would call rogue teachings (and this would disappoint me greatly) or he is in some close knit clique in his congregation which has secretly chosen to go rogue on certain wt issues.. based on many of the recent posts here about drastic money and wt organization problems this could be a sign of pending splits of certain congregation members.. what do you think?

Costs Associated with a Regular Size smaller rink Assembly Public Owned
by truthlover123 injust came from the one day -- like to call it that cause everything is a changin.... this question would be directed to someone who worked in accounts for an assembly of maybe 1700 in attendance (recently) in a small town, about 2 hours from a main city.
the accounts report was read and it was a stunner..... i guess i could call the location and see how much it costs to rent this arena for a day and see but i was wondering why would they send a large amount of monies to the wt and say we are short on contribution???.
anyb ody know - i do know about monies going for child abuse court problems they are having - latest one in canada where there us a class action suit being brought by trey bundy... plus the so called out of court settlements worldwide.. arc, britain, etc...so i know that end of it - just wondering why they are sucking /lying to support the www... .
