Nice letter and to the point. My thought is, though, that if everyone didn't know Randy's position on the WTBTS, they do now.
:-)
a positive article on jw's in tuesday's edition of the toronto star that appeared to have obvious input and direction from the wt public affairs office left local jw's buzzing and glowing from some positive press for a change.
in some halls reference to it was made from the platforms.
if you haven't read the article you can read it here http://www.thestar.com/nasapp/cs/contentserver?pagename=thestar/layout/article_type1&c=article&cid=1026143773683&call_page=ts_life&call_pageid=991479973472&call_pagepath=life/news&col=991929131147.

i don't why i'm making a post of this, just because i guess... my dog died this morning, run over by a car... she saw a bunch of kids on the other side of a busy street, slipped out of the collar and ran for it... she didn't listen to me & she was dead before i even got to her :(.
in loving memory of tequila "mockingbird" casey, c. 1994-2002, the most beautiful, loving dog ever...
Michael - Steve and I were so sorry to hear of the death of your beloved Tequila. I know in my heart that we will be together again with those loved ones we have lost - no matter whatever or whenever that may happen to be.
Love
Donna
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. | |
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown |
i've had this cowdog for nearly 11 years now.
today she went out in the sun and got heatstroke and just didn't recover.
i gave her cpr and brought her back twice but she was too far gone.
((((LB)))))
I'm so sorry for your loss. Our dogs are members of our family and I can only imagine how sad you are.
Love,
Donna

Hi Kats, Bentley and Nomen, I was Furmom on witnet. We should have an ex-witnet online reunion. There are a couple more of us here under different names. I really, from my heart, rejoice that you are no longer witnesses.

we`ve seen some pretty mean usa bashing.so it`s time for a new thread about the good things in the usa..first off they got coors beer,a dam fine beer i must say.disineyland, what kid dosen`t want to go to disineyland?been there more than a few times and i intend to go again.tex-mex food,i`ll be dammed if i can get a decent enchilada this side of the border.the oregon coast with the giant red wood forest,a beautiful drive on a holiday.the humungas servings when you go to a usa restaraunt, especialy the steakhouse`s.so if you live in the usa,or go for a visit like i do,what are the things you enjoy in the usa?...outlaw edited by - outlaw on 2 july 2002 20:25:30.
Gotta love the a/c. 100 degrees here in NYC today and the humidity is very high. I really think I would melt without it.
Ice cubes? No biggie, I don't really like my drinks that cold. In fact, LOVED the Guiness in London - served just the right temp, not to warm, not too cold.
Street/freeway/highway signs. I really think we have great signage. The best. We had a difficult time in France trying to figure out where we were going (although the Metro was very easy to figure out).

patriot......the only country i would live in is new zealand....it is beautiful, it is a slow pace of life and it is pretty neutral when it comes to world factions......... i too knew people who lost their lives last years tradegy.....and a girls uncle who was on the second plane that hit..i went to 3 funerals becasue of it...it iwas horrible....and i sooooo surprised that uk has not been hit by these so-called holy warriors yet as they are so closely connected with the us.. anyway....talking about beer...a great bar in manhattan is the ginger man on 36th street between 5th and madison..you should check it out !
There is a BIG difference in saying "I don't agree with your countries politics" and saying that the death of over 3000 people was "brought upon ourselves".
Your mindless words do nothing constructive. They only cause hurt.
