  the society boasts about the billions of hours spent in the ministry worldwide.

  but, when one asks how many of those hours were spent visiting one sick or needy sister?

  the answer is zero.

  Well I learned something new just now. I did not know that time was counted on an invitee to the meetings, and the time spent traveling to give a talk in another congregation was also counted. The rest of the time counted I knew of.
  Can't you see why unbaptized people feel that they are "loved?" And in actuality they are just being used to boost a JWs hourly ministry. It seems that everything that JWs does is for selfish reasons.
  Bottom line selfish reason.......Gain everlasting life in Paradise on earth. Make you wonder how much work they would do if they didn't have that prize dangling in front of them?

  OK. This reasoning that the brodder gave to excuse himself from making a good living to provide for his family is commendable to many JWs.
  You know that they feel the ones that were trapped in the towers who were JWs, were being materialistic. The faithful ones escaped.

  what does the watchtower teach that is right.

  so you dont have to say it.

  could you please bear with me for a second here.. this organisation cant be all bad even though overall it is.. .

  most of you may reluctantly hold the opinion that every thing the watchtower currently teaches isnt all bad so could you please give your honest opinions as to what you think is good about the org.. so what is there that can be said about it and its teachings that is good.. especially about prophecy.

  have any of you read the finished mystery that was written in 1917?

  it was started by russell and completed by rutherford who published it.

  i am half way through the book and have skimmed through the majority of it.. rutherford either had to be drunk or crazy when he wrote that pitiful interpretation of revelations.

  Their words came true!!!!! Sorry guy, your boys must have been full of the real stuff.

  You guys are right. I looked in the proclaimers book and it gave the credits for the Finished Mystery to 2 men other than Rutherford and Russel. They must have been high or crazy too.

  I printed the copy that I have now from "The News and Observer"; the 75,000 Edition. I went to one of the sites that was selling copies of the originals for just under one thousand dollars, U.S. currency. That is a little steep for me. I trust the copies that Kent have on his site to be pretty accurate.

  Rutherford either had to be drunk or crazy when he wrote that pitiful interpretation of Revelations. Where did he get his interpretation from? I wish that he could be resurrected right now and made to go from door to door with that craziness. No wonder the boys in New York stopped printing it. It is exactly false prophesy.
  I can see why the book was banned. It is full of slander and lies, directed toward certain people and organizations.

  they were discussing sodom and gomorah and how if jah had found a few righteous men in that city, both cities would be spared.

  not a one was found.

  however, they mention jah protected lot and his daughters, as they were faithful and living nearby.

  The Ammonites and Moabites were descendants of Lot. Their origin needed to be revealed. The Bible doesn’t seem to tell all of the good stuff and leave out the bad.
