Shaking Hands with Death - part 1
by Amazing inshaking hands with death: the one common bond we all share, even jehovahs witnesses, is death ... it lurks in the back of the head ... and most people dont think about it more than they are forced to when a loved one dies.
on monday, 5/28 i was forced against my will to meet mr. death, and have my first chat with him.. i would have expected to have profound and serious thoughts combined with the wise and sage advice of standing at the threshold of deaths door.
what i found was something most unexpected ... something that altered my views of life and death, yet once again.. the heart attack: it was a pleasant noontime.

Some more of my 2 cents:
I here that shows are rated by the amount of response from the veiwers and that if the response is great enough they know that will affect their ratings in a positive way. Many people do not know about the inner workings of the WTS, and so they will not be quick to come to their defense. I personally think that Dateline will get much correspondance on Jehovahs Witnesses that will cause them to investigate more. It will become a hot topic for Dateline. In turn Dateline will do what any successful business would do, CAPITALIZE!!!
I hope that what I just said made sense to yall. Did to me. hahahah

I agree with SaintSatan when he said,
"Not to minimise hassan, but it might be better, because it allows the program to focus on one idea instead of bringing in a second one as well. People will be able to see more clearly the wt pedo issue, without the cult issue. That's my theory, anyway"

Barbara Anderson Disfellowshipped
by silentlambs inas of 1 pm today barb anderson was notified that she has been disfellowshipped in writing by the judicial committee in her congregation.
barb was df in absentia at a second hearing that was declared after she successfully defended herself against charges in the first hearing.
home office came back with further instructions to make it stick the second time around.

Correction: Dateline says 10:PM Eastern

i did not watch dateline tonight, and did not hear stone philips say it would be shown at 7:00 pm eastern.
this is better, because family and some friends on the west coast will have it easier.

Hey Amazing,
I just looked at the preveiws for tuesday night dateline show and it said that the show would air at 8pm eastern time. I think that we should be prepared to be in front of the tv from 7 oclock until 11.Pureheart

after his death, many followers abandoned his watch tower bible and tract society (1879), which under the leadership of joseph rutherford moved in other directions and ultimately became known as jehovah's witnesses (1931).
