Partake? or not Partake?
Does it have anything to do with eternal life!
How does one know he is part of the heavenly class?
What does it mean to partake unworthy?
Same un answered questions for the last fifty years. : -)

First post in years
by voodoo lady inwhen i was last here, my mother had recently been diagnosed with cancer.
there were potential issues regarding transfusion, none of which eventuated.
she undertook a course of chemo which worked quickly and effectively, with minimal side-effects.

A preist , Pastor , or minister of religion that uses the Bible or an i-pad , who in your eyes would command your respect .
by smiddy ini ask this because of an experience over the weekend when two witnesses came to my door , and he tried to use his i-pad to witness to me, which i wasnt intersted in.. my theory is this is going to backfire on them .
the majority of people in christendom , whether they practice it or not have a reverence , if not a deep respect for the written word , the bible , as a holy book.
a sacred book.. i dont beleive a householder who is a christian is going to be impressed by someone who quotes scriptures from an i-pad.. religous books have been considered sacred for centuries , their is an awe about them .

Are apostates becoming more brazen
by joe134cd ini was just watching the video of bo jensen, when he walked into the bethel.
although i thought it was commendable for what he did, it got me thinking if apostates are becoming more brazen in taking wt to task.
in the short time that i have been visiting apostate sites, i do feel that this is the case.

New Prince album quite interesting for JWs
by JimmyPage inyou've probably already heard that prince is calling his new album "follow the slave".
but a closer look at the track list raises even more eyebrows.
check out these song titles: "100 invisible years".

The Good News of The Kingdom - Gods Plan for Salvation through the Ransom (Help Needed)
by objectivetruth inwhen i first began studying in order to "make the truth my own", there were a set of scriptures that perplexed me and motivated me to dig deeper.. the scriptures are regarding the resurrection of the inhabitants of sodom & gomorrah.. see jesus words here - matthew 10:15 - "truly i say to you, it will be more endurable for the land of sodom and gomorrah on judgment day than for that city.
" (ezekiel 16:48 / matthew 11:23 / matthew 11:24 / luke 10:12 ).
any time that i brought these scriptures up to jw friends and family they would reply like this "jesus was speaking in hyperbole.. that is why he said it would be more endurable".. i would clarify and show them that it says "will be".

I enjoyed reading some of your other post! It seems you have a very good grasp of false WT doctrines.
You had me going there for at least the last hour!
LOL!

Comatose, manic episode! LOL
Objectivetruth.
How about expressing what you think about a bible topic instead of cutting and pasting WT quotes. It is rather annoying.
You can use your own reasoning it is okay. Thanks.
Now, I think that in John 5 …28"Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, 29and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment. 30"I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
ALL will be resurrected.
Do you think you will be in the first resurrection or second resurrection?
