You do realize that questioned is a Watchtower cult mind control training question! Then they will explain all the worldly religions flaws so you will not focus on pointing out WBTS flaws.

Just prove it by asking JW a question regarding WTBTS doctrines! They will always state this question. When JWs can not prove something that your questioning they try to get you to think of untruths from different sects! You will state "What does other religion have to do with your questions regarding JW doctrine doubt." You know why? WTBTS knows their is no such thing as a true religion! But JWs don't understand their is no such thing as true religion. They can only prove false relgion. They coined, The Truth will set you free!

The entire reason why you should get baptized as a JW is if you believe the world religions is Satan's organization, and the JW is Jehovah's organization. That was in Rutherfords books. Then you enter into the spiritual earthly New Jerusalem. Basically the Kingdom Hall! That is why it is called the Kingdom Hall! It is all made up! LOL! hope that helps.

The above article is really a slap in my face. Considering, I married a JW man who became my secret friend when I was 12-13! I married him in late 1974 Parental consent! They would rather me marry a JW than have sex out side of marriage.

No elder told me the truth! No sister thought he was too old,And when he was teasing me during prayers by wiggling his tongue did anyone else see him! I laughed but that was how he got to me and I started to trust him. He broke me down. He molested someone when we were married! He forged my name. I was used! No one warned me in 1974! Yes please warn others!

So, 60 Years Ago

so, folks, 60 years ago, starting on september 1st, i believe, we, local witnesses in southern california, had the "privilege" of attending the "around the world assembly", at, of all places, the rose bowl, in pasadena.

(i think that it was an 8-day assembly) i was 9 years old then, almost ready to start 4th grade.

so, was anyone else, on this site, at that assembly?

I was there from Westminster, Orange County. I was younger,six, and recall they had something special for children but they would not tell us! So, all of young ones looked forward to the assembly! I believe it was a drama about Noah or Lot! I think most of us really enjoyed the drama. But I recall feeling disappointed because we were so exhausted and the long wait. I remember feeling very puzzled or confused yet I was suppose to understand and like it. I believe it was in the evening! I believe I might still have one picture.

Disfellowshipped for Fornication

hi i want to tell my story and get advice.

i'm a single sister ( in usa) that has been baptized for 20 years.

i came from the world, so did not grow up in the truth and i have no family in the truth -- i am alone.. last year i met a brother & we did have premarital sex while we were dating.

I think you should asked the elders if they had sex before marriage!

I bet the entire congregation had premartial sex.

Do you understand that most people who confess are actually more honest than the elders who never confessed!

Also, just because someone becomes a JW does that mean their past fornication is wiped away!

My favorite just get married then your sins as a JW are minor at most private reproof.

Aftermath of being Reinstated

i'm in the process of being reinstated ( my df'ing story is on here).

because i've never been in this position before, i don't know how i will be treated once i'm reinstated.

i moved to a new city/state and i don't know a single person here or in my new congregation i am attending.

One elder told me before they announced they were going to reinstate me that 99% of reinstated ones leave.

You should worry about how doctrine lies and the cult will destroy your life and family!

I have PTSD because of the harsh elder meetings and learning doctrine lies!

I was not okay with how they never have talks about Jesus being Michael the Archangel! There were not any talks about Jesus being most the angels in Revelation!

In order to be a JW you must believe that Jesus is many angels!

I say leave and spare your thoughts on why! Why did my parents join, Why did I get reinstate, etc,. Walk away and take classes.

Elders are appointed by Jesus. They are more like demi gods! If you go against your local elders then you will not be forgiven.

I more concerned about you getting reinstated. If your asking this question then you do not belong at the Kingdom Hall.

I wasted 20years getting reinstated and through the process I realized all JW doctrines are lies! All of them!

It was a hard road to be dfd and sitting at meetings for that many years. I thought they had some truth and wanted to be able to talk with family. The bottom line, I got treated worse after being reinstated! People looked at me like I had a virus!

Every thing in The Revelation Its Grand Climax is completely false.

Please do not waste your youth on this crazy cult!

Take some classes and let school take the place of meetings!

for some background - i studied on & off as a child with a jehovah's witness who has been patiently working on lots of our family for more than a decade and never gave up on any of us.

as a middle-schooler and a highschooler, my love for jehovah and any association with my childhoood bible teacher... faded.

I understand where you are coming from a failed relationship! In reality, you were in an abusive relationship. Praying is a great help but it does not mean that the Jehovahs Witnesses are God's choosen religion, the truth.

I hope you study the bible like the KG and many other bibles to understand false doctrines of the Watchtower.

Some times people make poor choices and when they start making better choices their lives changes. Better choices such as do not date someone who is abusive toward you and your child, choose to not be around people who lie, drink too much, or do drugs.
