i haven't been on here much lately, but i read barb anderson's report on the court case in california the other day.

nice to see the borg finally getting what they deserve.. anyway, the daily mail has done a story about it and at the end you can give your comments.

i think there are a number of 'faithful witlesses' on there who are giving the "thumbs down" to any negative comments about the borg, including mine.

A Pettion for US Residents to Suspend Tax Exemption From Religious Cults deadline July 1st

this petition is to actively encourage congress to revise usc title 26 501 (and possibly 170) so that all tax exempt organizations must promote freedom of religion and speech to its members and employees.. .

congress should authorize the irs to promulgate regulations; investigate members, employees, and former members complaints; and enforce legislation.

an organizations tax exempt status should be suspended for not less than 3 years that does not promote freedom of religion and speech to its members and employees and instead intimidates or coerces them.. .

The purpose is to help the Government to see who the WTBTS really is.

It is a Publishing Company disguised in religion.

Shunning is focused in this Petition. Now that Candace Conti's case is getting big publicity, it probably more effective if petition is focused more on in this area IMO . The WTS is clearly violating the law for failing to report the crime as required by law. The policy is definitely harmful to society but beneficial neither educational.

No one is after religion.

since you are left in the dark, you immedi- ately notice what happened and replace the burned-out bulb with a new one.

Shunning is by far the most inhumane evil single policy that is being done cheerfully by the WTBTS religious conviction!

Men was before religion and constitution.

It is about integrity of humanity.

I see where you and others are coming from. I still believe Rick provided valuble service to ex-JWs community last night. I sure hope he has learned his lesson. I am going to give him a benefit of doubt.

Well diamondiiz, I am sorry you all ended up with Johnny the Bullshitite for six months. I came into the picture afterwards that I don't know anything about Rick or Johnny the Bul*****.

One thing I know for sure is that Rick got hold of Mr. Simons and I was grateful for that.

I wouldn't compare Rick or any ex-JWs with the wt crazies though. The Watchtower is far, far more than crazy. I am speaking it from my own first hand experiences. After such experiences, you can pretty much handle anything and everything.
