but,i remember about three years ago , the congregation was asked to allow the society to hold onto the savings,cd,etc,until the congregation needed it.
i forget the reasoning they gave on the matter,maybe the society would collect interests on it.
Yes, my husband told me about this a few months ago as we were discussing about the Menlo Park Kingdom Hall case. This happened at least 5 years ago here in local KH. I was too zombie at the time to even realize any of these development.

i've known their cousins, uncles, daughters, nephews, etc.. i know that rick can't post here and i understand the reasons.. i just wanted to say that rick has suffered a terrible loss and he dearly loved his ill wife, inez.. i want to thank mouthy for letting us know about what happened to inez a couple of weeks ago!
and i hope that we can show kindness and caring for rick during his time of grief and sorrow..

The Watchtower do not automatically remove convicted criminal elders from their position neither do Watchtower refuse to appoint pedophiles in responsible position. It's all about who the Watchtower decide to believe. And it's always their elders over anyone(victims, governments, Rank & File, etc) and any laws.
Some of you here are active elders. I don't doubt you are doing the right thing especially in this issue, that's why you are here. The rest elders are simply company men.
i was thinking about what would be the most damaging thing anonymous could do on an organizational level by hacking the society.
one poster suggested that they should send out e-mails to all the elders in their elder database pretending to be the society.
but rather than sending out anything wierd and defaming, they should go the opposite route and do what the society would never do but should.
Illegal in who's eyes? In governments? Talking about disregarding laws of the land. The Watchtower has no regard for any government laws unless they benefit itself. It's all about a 'theocratic warfare!' Looks like the Watchtower finally ran into their match(except 'Anonymous' is acting in behalf of others while the Watchtower is all but others welfare).
'Anonymous' reminds of me 'the asian Anonymous Hero behind the Mask' from during 1930's - 1940's who fought against injustice by Japaness that ocupying his Country. He has name thou: 'Gaksital' which means 'mask of a bride.' Oh, wait! Now that I think of it, his mask is very much smilar to that of 'Anonymous!'
What's going on here? Is Anonymous a resurrected 'Gaksital?' In that case, I am in!

My husband and I were in the verge of seperation about 3 months ago over religious difference. Today, he is 98% de-converted and thoroghtly disguested with the Watchtower. It has been 'operation TIOL (take it or leave).'
