Freedom of religion also means, according to the US Constitution that you have,

the RIGHT NOT TO PRACTICE A RELIGION, RIGHT NOT TO BE PERSECUTED FOR NOT PRACTCING CERTAIN RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.

The US Constitution also gives people,

the RIGHT TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT TO CHANGE LAWS OR ACTS THAT ARE NOT FAIR. ('petition the government' is one of the right that guaranteed by the First Amendment).

It's about the time to further your limited knowledge and honor others Constitutional rights and thier efforts to reform social injustice. One thing to disagree another thing to bullying. Yes, I say it 'bullying'. Bullying: a blustering, guarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people.

No one targeting particular religion but targeting particular inhumain doctrine of particular religion or orgarnization.

The US Supreme Court ruled out the practice of Polygamy of Mormon since it voilates civil marriage law.(Mormon itself was not the issue but its practice was). Mormons were forced to abandon the practice while allow to believe it. Only people had/have problem with this ruling are polygamists, for example, Warran Jeff, a leader of FLDS(a splinter Mormon group). He was one of FBI 10 most wanted for child sexual abuse and is in the prison cell for the rest of his life.

Let the Supreme Court do their job! All journey starts with a firt step.

jam, I am feeling your pain. I am so sorry this cult hurt and destroyed your family. The cult tried mine also. It's indescribable.

At the end of the day, thou, we sleep good with good heart while they have sleepless nights in bad heart.

There's 2 things the WTS hates most are being sue and being strip off.

I am working on both in personal level by educating(the truth about the cult and achiving secular succuss ) ourselves and supporting ex-JWs sites and participating in my constitutional rights. You may creat your own blog or website to expose them. We may want to contact authorities and media with the informations we have. We have to be patient and discreet about our plots in order to accomplish good outcome in our favor.

Take care of yourself and your family. You guys deserve better. Don't let yourself be consumed by them but let them consumed by you with your personal conviction.

Recently heard rumor, can anyone substantiate?

so a friend of mine said that one of their family members told them the following:.

... was telling me last monday that entire congos were being dissovled due to individualized thinking.. .

now, i haven't heard anything specific, and if there were widespread rumors i'm fairly confident we would hear them here.

Gilead school has replaced it for a school for trouble shooter elders for troubled congregations. Must be a reason?

The entire circuit in this area is corrupted by one elder. The man has been holding the most prominent position in the circuit for last 10 years. More than 100 people fled to neiboring congregation in seeking refuge during his first 7 years of rule. He turned the congregation from the largest booming cong to a dying dread cong in the circuit. And yet no circuit overseers that have been in and out for last 10 years seem to notice it. He df'ed more people and cause more sorrow and pain to many. The man black mails his innocent victims. He controles the entire elders in the circuit. Every Coordinators of the most congregations in the circuit are worshipping this guy as Moses. Rank & File are living in dread not knowing which one of them will be the next target. Some elders in the circuit know this disguised as an angel of light's true identity but go along with the man in fear.

Malicious Slandering, witch hunt, horrendous gossiping, brown nosing, drinking party, evil scheming, lying and manuplating, morbid dread, etc are only existing truth among them. The evidences are every where and can be seen so clear by every R&F but COs.

Numbers of Letters has been sent to the WTS. People has been crying for relief from the tyranny for years. It may well finally the GB is awaring of existance of rampant corruptions of their elders in local level.

Learning from dog is not a bad thing. I am learning more valid things from dogs in these days than from the GB for last 25 years.

this story happened in my hometown in a hall i helped build years ago.

its no wonder this sort of thing happens, this guy was probably desperate and vunerable when he got df'd.

no pity for this stupid elder, but the poor kids.

It's heart breaking to hear about the JW mother of 6 children. Those children have to go on without their mother!

It's got to stop at some point. I don't know what's going to take this religeous leaders to reform their cruel policies.

Share your success story about raising kids outside of the JW religion.....

this is in response to a poster/troll who said that the jw life is the only way to raise a responsible, moral young person.

i have 3 sons--19, 18 and 14. the oldest two just finished up their first year in college-not community college(nothing wrong with that) they are at a state university.

one made the dean's list both semesters.

My older one got BS paid by full scholarship and a year away from getting MA in pyschology with curreny GPA is 4.0 at age 21. Most of all, she is kind, curteous, hold good moral standing, mature and really good with money.

My younger one just finished her freshman year at the University and working part time job. She's also good with money, kind, pleasant young lady. she also occasionally volunteer at the local Soup Kitchen.

we have 3 missionaries for sure and lots of bethelites.

i was a permanent volunteer for a year in the branch in mexico.

oh and we have one gb member :-).
