Ix, I thought that was pretty clever too. I tried to give you a little example that you might understand. I went the juvenile level for ya.
At least you have a sense of humor

Talking about racism is a huge business. You can even be an avowed Marxist and be a co founder of BLM and buy million dollar homes. The hypocrisy of it all!!!
Totally agree that often those behind the movement are in it for the money. The only problem with this thread is when you mentioned that others are also profiteering from the rage, then, it becomes a controversy.
actors' acceptance speeches have often been a little dodgy - viewers don't care what political or social views actors may have, we typically appreciate actors acting well.. this year's oscars awards ceremony seems to be going above and beyond, however.. here's frances mcdormand's acceptance speech, in which she dedicates her victory to 'our wolf' and then howls like a bitch, lol.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-_be0awgwk.
There are some good shows out there with all manner of people in them and no “racist” overtones or wokeness. It’s time to shut up about race and make a good product, which is what movies are. Yet, it seems that some persons who follow certain ideologies just can’t stop drawing attention to race.
True. Sometimes the media will also lash out to some stupid aspect of a film and make it all racial even when that wasn't the main subject of the film. Similar to when you have a 5 second nude scene and people lose their minds about Christian values and corrupting the youths.

Movies are tough because the concept may be great, or maybe there’s a great story in a book, but it may not translate to film, or the timing could be wrong and it’s not well received, ect.
Agree, timing matters

I don’t consider Black Panther a woke film because that character isn’t new, but it wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. I feel it was hyped as “Black” when they should have just made a super hero movie and made it the best movie possible.
My response about Black Panther was in response to someone who said
"Woke" films don't draw big audiences

Racism does not benefit anyone, much less the stigmatized persons. Let's get that clear.
you forgot the systemic part

Why are blacks constantly mentioned on this thread? The reason this subject is so much discussed has a lot to do with Black Lives Matter. Oops there I said it again! BLACK. It’s ok to use the word. Much respect too and kudos to major news outlets for capitalizing Black.
Very juvenile, LOL

Now something airline related that does have a bearing on the topic is the US airline that declared they were going to make sure they had an equal number of black pilots.
What can that mean other than that they will recruit based on skin color? That one day, instead of the best pilot being given the job, a lesser-skilled black pilot will instead be given the job.
Why the obsession with minority and blacks on this thread. In earlier post on this thread it was already agreed that there is systemic racism and that it can benefit both minorities and whites. I am just curious why you seem to be obsessed with black people only benefiting from it. I am sure if you look enough will find example of others benefiting from systemic racism. Jehovah loves everyone
You still don't seem to understand what this topic is even about.
The original question from @Minimus was is systemic racism as pervasive as some will suggest? and we already cleared that huddle.

this systemic racism thing is getting thin, can we please blame Jehovah instead, he caused all this.

You do know about a thing on computers called GOOGLE, don't you? You may want to try to learn how to use it!
you are making Google look bad if that is all you can come up with
