Now, sure, I know that there is NO guarantee that the vaccination will prevent me from contracting the malady. But, still, I wanted to stay on the "safe side."
Definitely makes sense.
we are encouraged to all, if possible, get the vaccinations.
if you don’t, we are told that we definitely could get the virus.
fair enough.. but what happens if you decide you aren’t going to get the shots?

many politicians and people agree that we are all affected by the scourge of systemic racism.
what’s your view of this?
That said, a synonym of systemic is inherent
LOL, where did you get that from?
You didn't answer the original question "Is it As Pervasive As Some Suggest?"
remember when nixon resigned?
the big a was here some said.
remember 1986 and the "international year of peace and security?
Absolutely not connected to modern events. Armageddon is history....Revelation 16:16 was fulfilled in the first century.
That is actually a nice way of putting it. How do we then fill the void of not knowing there will be impending doom.?
interesting.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgwuu0vj2tm.
They have a way to get around the Russian issue by keeping it rather quiet. That will definitely not work since they want to keep the flock united in the struggle. They need to feed their persecution complex so that they can prove that they are true servants of the Lord

why is it that minorities seem to be always shown in confrontations with police?
You actually see what you want to see.
But since it appears that is what happened, should we say the entire police system needs better training?? I don’t think so.
I am now wondering if you just want to keep this thread going for the sake of it or you really believe the above. For the sake of the later, I will give you an example of Andreas Lubitz a german pilot who purpose crashed the plane Germanwings Flight 9525. He messed up so bad that some airlines put in place new regulatory system and psychology assessment for pilots.
One pilot messed up, they recognized a problem and they put in place procedure to improve the system.
"should we say the entire police system needs better training" not if you don't believe there is a problem.

I want the police defunded and I live a peaceful, orderly life. I don't want to burn buildings down. Minimus, you're overgeneralizing a little and you've been doing that in this thread. Police brutality against non-whites continues to be a serious problem which needs addressing. By far, not every police shooting of a minority involves the minority attacking police.
If you don't get to the root of the problem, you are just putting a plaster on it until the next explosion. "Defund the police" will not resolve the basic issue that most people are concerned about. People still want the police, but they just want them to do a better job.
The reason why it appears that only minorities are being targeted is that it makes the headlines and the news outlet just lap it up. An elderly white lady just got messed up by the police and the video appears to show that they police were actually pleased with their brutality.
Most will agree that the system can be improved, but they still deny that there is a problem. You can't improve something if you don't first recognize that there is a problem.

Ix, do you think police are the real problem and that they make race relations worse??
Nope, politics and ignorance are the real culprits

Having police deters problems. You do think twice if you might get a speeding ticket or drive drunk or think you can simply pick a fight with your neighbor.
I agree

“The system “ tries hard to accommodate all types. And your point is what regarding systemic racism??
I will refer you to your comment below
The system should be improved and people who are less qualified should not be given jobs because of their minority status. The system should reward people for their qualifications not for their lack of.

Plenty of towns have police that for the most part keep law and order
Why do you need the police to keep law and order if people in those towns already obey the law?
