WTWizard, Thought you might like this. Back in 2005 Chloroquine was an admitted potent medicine in the fight against SARS-CoV 1 My concern regarding the vaccinations is why they are so determined to jab the entire planet, even babies, that they would deny and even demonise cheap medicines that are proving to be far more effective in countries like Nigeria than the vaccines are in the countries that can get them. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16115318/

Holy Spirit - Present or Gone in the Congregations?
by BourneIdentity ini was doing some reminiscing and remember the days back in the late 80s and early 90s where i truly could say the meetings were so encouraging and that i felt the holy spirit present and operating on all of us.
today when i attend, there is nothing of the sort.
is it because jehovah has withheld it?

The first time I felt Holy Spirit, I wasn't in a group of people, I wasn't feeling emotionally charged or any of the other excuses people come up with to deny it. I was sitting alone at home, hadn't been going to the meetings that long, I was reading the Bible, not the JWs literature, the Bible, I had started at the beginning, and on this particular evening, I was bored out of my mind because I was reading the book of Numbers, how so and so begat so and so.
All of a sudden, it was as if somebody had injected me with Morphine that spread from my middle to my extremities.
I was in a good congregation, Caterham, wanted to do more for God, so I moved up to Glossop, never felt it again.
My view is that the society doesn't own the Holy Spirit, anybody that really wants to genuinely find him, whatever religion, he lets himself be found, just like the scripture says, if we grope for him, he will let himself be found.
I would guess watching me trudge through the book of numbers was a good indication tom God that I was genuinely searching for him. No idea why it disappeared when I went to Glossop though, the result was that without the encouragement of the Spirit, after a few years I lost the love I had at first.
Maybe something bad goes on in that area, the area of the Moors Murderers and Dr Shipley.

And JW's are not allowed to think about sex? O_o
by nowawake14 ini thought this might catch your eye.
especially if you're a man.. they say thinking about sex is wrong!
that's biologically impossible.

Just one of the many reasons I had to leave. I felt such a hypocrite due to the way no outlet made the pressure build up so that I was constantly thinking about sex, knowing that all you others in the Kingdom Halls where just so innocent and pure, and that God hated the very air I breathed because it had been so tainted by my uncleanliness.
Maybe one of the reasons why you poor Sisters are so outnumbered and face a lifetime of loneliness and frustration that only goes away when you read the Watchtower. (Though that particular remedy never worked for me, once again demonstrating how much worst I was).

Ending Bible Study
by Maria Nieves ini have been studying with jehovah's witnesses for approximately two years.
initially, i liked the studies and felt that i was growing closer to god.
however, as the studies progressed, they seemed to become increasingly negative and i did not like what i was being taught.

Another tactic, seem interested still but get them to want to stop the study by acting like an apostate.
All you have to do is ask some awkward questions that Witnesses get very uncomfortable with, plenty here will give you examples. You might even help your study conductor to "see the light".
For instance, with the Memorial coming up, you could ask in a genuine and polite manner, ""Why do Witnesses not drink the wine or eat the bread when it plainly says at John Chapter 6 v 53 "So Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in yourselves.u 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will resurrectv him on the last day; 55 for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink." and as verse 31 and 49 likens this to the Manna that kept the Hebrews alive in the wilderness, plainly this isn't just for the Priestly class?""

Film showing the pyramid beliefs of early JWs and the end coming in 1925
by Crazyguy2 inhttps://youtu.be/s2snv8syqvu.
apparently the jws were still using russell’s pyramid measurements to push the end for 1925 too.
here is the film anyone know it they used pyramidolgy to push the other previous dates like 1918?
-

The date for the start of this "Kingdom" was indeed learnt from the Great Pyramid, its written in Russell's Studies from the Scriptures.
Those of us aware of Globalism, the "New World Order", the coming Global Government and Global religion that will tale us back to Nimrods "type", know that its sacred Symbol is the eye on the top of this same pyramid.
In view of the fact this Global New World Order was initially conceived as a result of the First World War of 1914, makes me wonder if the Witnesses have been inadvertently announcing the Kingdom of the Anti-Christ. Jesus Kingdom didn't come a hundred years ago, it comes at the end of the 42 month persecution of Gods people who resist taking the Mark of the Beast.

Never in my wildest dream would I ever see one of those dog gone carts
by Tameria2001 ini moved to where i'm currently living for 10 years now.
once in a while, i would have jws come to my door and every single time either i or my husband would send them on their merry way, although my husband is quite rude about it.
i'm not sure when the cart witnessing (or whatever it is called) started up, but the only time i ever heard about it was on the internet, or someone here talking about it.

When I am early for an appointment for instance, so have the time, I hover a little around these carts, not only to see what pearls of wisdom the society are offering these days, but to maybe even maybe entice a little chat. They just do not seem interested in actually preaching, I wonder if they like doing this work as it means they can count time without actually having to talk to the great unwashed?

I just started a thread inquiring what has happened to all the congregations that used to meet here.
I was in neighbouring Caterham when these were all built, it was a great social event.
The complex is within walking distance of my present residence.

Anyone notice JW old publications are going way up in price?
by Tobyjones262 ini have long collected the older books and magazines that show the jws crazy cult history.
they used to be very cheap and i have had people just give me books.
but now it seems the older stuff that shows the crazy cult history is really going up in price.

I sold a motorcycle to a friends son, I have known the family since 1968
I was surprised to see he had a complete collection of the original "Studies in the Scriptures", the fella had never been a Dub though his parents used to take the magazines. I think he had them for decoration, to look good on his bookshelf. He obviously never read them or had a clue what they were about.
