I am left with the impression that "The Chair" is only getting warwed up with all of this. Referrence was made to O'brien not answering directly but needing to take legal counsel. "The Chair" stated they would be awaiting the answer as if it would be addressed at a later date.

My Final Goodbye
by Lady Lee ini want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.
i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.
i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

What is wrong with all the Cedars survey stuff is that REAL JWs will not respond to it - only fringe JWs who are outside the real JW sphere on influence.
My MIL is a real JW. She took the survey. I am neither DF'd or DA'd. I took the survey. I can't imagine we are the exception.

YES Exactly! Unbelievable. I am actually a bit surprised by the amaturish interaction from the WT representatives. I could guess what's coming down the pike for them based on the ludicrous answers they provided in just this brief 17 pages.
Austrailia has indeed been cruel to religions and now has an opportunity to display exactly why they are justified in doing so.

She was clearly pointed to the fact by the bench that this does not absolve the Watchtower from making the CHOICE to report to law enforcement anyway.

Obrien can't answer a simple question. Repeatedly after being asked he replies with another question and then finally when he finds himself against a wall defers to "other" legal counsel.
The amount of misleading obfuscation in the answers from Obrien is telling. At one point he is cautioned to "be careful" that Austrailia has not been kind to religions.....
This is good stuff.
