My perspective on the matter is people find faults in the organization as well as faults in the JW instead of the good of it(positive and looking for the good and not bad)

There are many good aspects to many different religions. It is where those religions fall short and follow the orders of imperfect men that innocents are victimized. Religions should eradicate any policies that protect criminals or lead to suicide. Don't you think?

This is exactly what I pulled out of it Zid. I responded that Jehovah, YHWH, God may or may not be benevolent, but certainly an organization of Jehovah's Witnesses bearing his name have proved themselves to be wolves in lambs clothing and reserved by their own doctrine for everlasting cutting off.....

Intro/fellow abuse survivor

im new to the site, as my username implies i am an abuse survivor, it was more then sexual, it was a very horrific type of abuse and no surprise the jw's that were involved were and still are being protected.

i have found posts here to be encouraging and glad to see i am not alone in my struggle and my fight.. i have a constant struggle/battle with emotional and mental health issues from the many many years of abuse but i am a fighter and try to keep on going, but am so glad to have found this site, it seems to be a source of encouragement :).

Welcome. I am saddened to hear of your turmoil. I hope you are doing all that you can in getting help from authorities and professionals. You are not alone. Stay strong and lean on others for support and guidance that have experience the same. So glad you find comfort here and look forward to learning more about you.

It is Jehoah God responsible for all the unjustises in the world? Couul it be that paents are accountible for thei children? Jehovah hates the unjusticess that is happening in the world. If there are unjustices withing his organisation, does that mean Jehoah husts in his heat! If pedophiles will be jidged even witnesses hide those crimes in theis congregation? Is conti deserved justice? Do you Thin ... k Jehoah will over look at, and agree they report to the authorities? Will Jehovah perfect justice to the world and eliminate these criminals, keeping in mind that he is allmighty. Remember, in the new system he will be the jdge and eliminate bad humans as justice will prevail. Is souvertly has already proven, satan will be killed along with yhose who follow him and folow thei couse of rebelious life.

I like that post very much.

Paint is so tricky. I've painted over so many dried colors with white paint and still some of those colors underneath show through with time. Maybe I just need more white paint? Or a high quality white paint with a stain blocker?

Some of the most valuable paintings in the world have been painted over with white paint and then the new painting layered on top.....

What is buried underneath the white paint is sometimes the most valuable part of a masterpiece.

Most JW's couldn't explain what the current definition of FDS is, so any change will be largely unnoticed.

Agreed, Just tried it out on two 14 year olds, one mid thirties, and two late 70s.

The teens said: It's the guys in Brooklyn that make the rules

Thirty something said: It's the Governing Body but they've always placated the partakers by including them....

The old timers said: It's all those who are "annointed" within the organization.

What you should keep in mind about apologists like Recovery, Alice, etc.

i don't post here much, but read often.

seen quite a few jw apologists and trolls come and go.

they are almost always successful at getting a good number of people here upset and riled up, leading to personal attacks.

This disturbes me, as Recovery has not even feebly refuted any objections in the "magic vs. miracles" thread.

Telling oneself that something is true does not make it so.

I am finding it hard to give credibility or personal interest to any of these debate threads because there is a clear disadvantage being promulgated by someones' certain cognitive dissonance.
