If Fizzy and others come back and apologize about this specific aspect of the AAWA lynching once they realize the enormous hole they have dug for themselves I would be surprised.
However, it would be appropriate.
i guess we're persona non grata now.

We should not presume to know why Barbara resigned as VP. She is still a founder and actively supporting AAWA.

When that hearsay is used to accuse others of having committed a criminal act, it is even more deserving of higher scrutiny. It is troubling to me that some here want to accuse their brothers, who are fighting the fight against the Watchtower, of committing a criminal act while waging that fight, based on flimsy facts such as those found on this thread. To me, these unproven allegations can only be made by someone who loves the Watchtower more than they love the folks on this forum.
The dividing line is not hard to decifer either 144,001 by an examination of posts. Spot on.

Isn't the quickest, simplest and safest solution to close the group immediately, then start a new one and only allow controlled membership with CLEAR description of what the implications of joining it are? IMO it appears people have become too obsessed with the body-count of members, that's the only thing I can imagine as a reason not to get this fixed ASAP.
I agree with this Simon. It would take less than 24 hours and it would make me personally feel more comfortable being part of the group. The checkpoints are in place currently but its the first 1300 members that are in before the checkpoints that should warrant genuine concern. It would be nice to see AAWA address this very specific element.

i`ve spent the morning and part of my afternoon... getting to the bottom of... why names were added to the awaa fan page... it`s a dangerous thing to happen in our world... faders can be outed,we can lose,family,friends... the results can be an absolute disaster... .

You all have made good and honest observations along with some profound concerns. I hope you are wrong Zed about people losing their families and it is AAWA that is directly and irrevocably to blame. AAWA has requested that those individuals email them. I wonder what would be said though and I wonder if any who were truly outed by the official AWAA group would even have the desire to get further involved through communication.
I personally want to see AAWA succeed primarily because I respect the work of the founders and board members. I will try to remain positive and abjective at the same time. I hope they will continue to address the concerns and evolve into a successful entity uniting the ExJW community. It is a daunting task but I for one want to be part of solutions and not problems.
I appreciate most of your comments. I genuinely hope there can be some common ground moving forward.

So you are expecting them to come forward publicaly with their timeline which would then further out them by linking their real or FB name to their JWN username, opening up all their posts for someone to hold against them?
No Anghard. Of course not. I meant to review their activity log personally as I did to see if it reveals anything not clear or apparent to them before. That is what I did out of sheer confusion as to what was going on and as to what I was reading on the forum.

Flipper I really do understand. I agree with what you are saying. I have experienced it. I only wish those who never wanted to be "outed" would have used another way(identity) to engage with the ExJW world. Much the way the majority on this Forum have done. So much of this nightmare could be averted. Perhaps that is the best lesson learned for fading or fringe JWs wishing to fly uinder the radar.

Thats not what rebel, Dagney and others have said. Where is your evidence they are wrong?
Where is their evidence that says they are right? See how it works? Burden of proof.
I can take them at their word. I have no problem with that but then it makes AAWA untruthful.
I am going off the facts that I can discern through my experience dealing with the AAWA Facebook dilema.
I am curious how other and their personal "outing" story fits into the facts.
Unless they come forward with their story and personal timeline of events by examining their own activity log on Facebook, we cant put the pieces together and it remains assumption and speculation.
