  wow this is getting bigger when you add on physical abuse, emotional and mental abuse...and how about elder abuse along with spousal abuse---weeeeelll what about it folks and there is also abuse of pets too

  Queenie....I agree with you...there is all kind of abuse...but like I posted in a reply earlier...I think that something in the past of the abuser triggered the actions. Not sexual neccessarily...just something in the past....Q

  i thought it would be interesting if we started count here on this board.

  please list how many you know personally, then add from the previous results, to keep a running tally.

  i realize it wont be an accurate count but perhaps an estimate of those that we know or are aquatinted with.. i'll start.. 3 +.

  I know of 1...however...I think that many elders use the title as a power...I really think that many elders had something happen in their lives at one point...and they feel they need to be in control...not saying that anything sexual happened to them at one point...but something happened that violated them...This is just my opinion...Q

  Thank you for the Article...but my question still remains unanswered...It seems to me more like a cult or a job with the way things are done....or it seems very very political to me...(exacly what JW says they are not...go figure) however...The only person you need to talk to is GOD...not some Elder is power is none greater than yours...

  My point exactly...Another thing too is I think many JW are afraid to admit they are EVER wrong...God is not about seperating people and judging people...how can someone call themself a christian if they are being judgemental...thanks for the reply...Q

  Preparation for Dateline & online interest

  dateline is just 24 hours (give or take) away.

  i really do expect to see a great deal of online activity as people search for more information.

  jwd is likely going to be one of the most visited due to the large amount of information posted here on the subject, much by silentlambs themselves.. i also expect to see people visiting randy's excellent site as well as watchtower observer for copies of documentation,news articles, etc.

  I think one or 2 things are gonna happen....the first thing is....there are gonna be the ones that are saying..."those apostates" and "thats the devil/evil"....then again...it might open the eyes up for some JW's.....
