i have been meeting with a jw woman for 4 months now.
i've asked her several difficult questions, and shown her a few things about the wt and their lies- including the letter from the un's website that confirmed they were an ngo for 9 years.

A womans tears
by Maverick inthis is really for the guys, but i know the woman here will have some great insights for us stupid men so i hope y-all will offer up your best.. when the woman i am with starts to tear up or cry i feel totally helpless and useless.
this is one of the most dreaded situations i as a man can ever find myself in.
my older brother, the retired police chief, would get angry if a woman started to cry when he was writing her a ticket, he felt it was an act.

I don't know if women do use crying as an act or a ploy
Just last night at work (I work on an internet Tech support line and it's 50p a minute charge for anyone who calls).
One women called, she had a very dainty voice (pathetic even, sorry) she was moaning how she had already called and the problem was not fixed. At one point early on in the call she started to cry and say it was costing her a fortune in calls costs. It would make me cry too at that price!
I've experienced this before and wondered if the caller was genuine or just trying to make me feel sorry for them. On this occasion I almost started to sweet talk her, but I decided to continue with the same tone of voice. I found that because I didn't fall for the tears, almost as soon as she realized I was not falling for it, she changed completely and started to be quite the opposite, laughing even at times.
I guess in my experience taking calls over the phone women can try to put an act on.

the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!
they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

and doen't care whom he swears in front of, it's great entertainment at get togethers, seeing the Dubbies faces and his wife threatening the wooden spoon!

I've been to a few JW funerals and every now and then to get-to-gethers (the missus is still a JW!)
I went to a bit of a BBQ on Saturday at a good friend of mines house (he has never been a JW, is wife is) actually he reminds me a bit of
Anyway, I digress. The longer you?re out the more you can see the robotic ness of the ?pure language?. It want to through up!
It was the turd in a swimming pool thing you mentioned. I can remember how I felt when someone ?turned their back on Jehovah? and the comments other JW?s would come out with like, loser, bad associate etc! I always get the feeling they are judging me to be ungodly? ?a turd?.
The highlight of the BBQ by the way was when my friend was asking for requests for him to play and sing on his guitar. I got him to sing aloud ?losing my religion? all the Dubs knew it was I who requested it! I didn?t care by that point coz I?d had about 6 cans of beer.
