The face looks familiar, now it's clicked!
by qwerty ini am at work and i have just over heard one of my colleagues speaking to another colleague about religion.. i was on a call with a customer at the time, i could hear him speaking about jesus and the randsom.
i thought i was hearing things, then the penny dropped.
i knew he looked familiar.

I was on a call with a customer at the time, I could hear him speaking about Jesus and the randsom. I thought I was hearing things, then the penny dropped. I knew he looked familiar. Talk about not recognising someone in a differant location/setting. Yep he's a JW, and he's was Witnessing to my work mate!
I nearly asked what religion he was into! I might do next week, I think he will recognise me also from when I visited his KH.
Anyone else had this happen to them?

Do you tell your friends your were a JW?
by eljefe inlast night i was out with my friends and i ran into another ex-jw.
based on the conversation with this ex-jw, my friends could tell that i was hiding something.
i think i will have to tell my friends that i was a jw.

Friends yes, but have you ever started telling someone you just met and then wish you didin't!?
I did at the Apostafest in Scotland.
Me Littletoe and Gadgets cousin went out for drink on the Saturday night, to sample some of Edinburgh night life. Anyway we got talking to two guys and for some reason I tried to explain how we knew each other and why we were there. Half way through trying to compete with the loud Gig that was playing, I saw the wierd look on their faces, I felt like saying to LT that I was in need of a visit to the bathroom and then let him take over!!!

Do you still Pray?
by Dustin insince i stopped being a jw i haven't prayed.
so the other day i went to supper at my parent's house who are still jw's, and they prayed before we ate.
it was a very strange feeling, and it stirred up alot of weird feelings.
