  Not exactly breaking news, but...how can the posters on JWTalk.net be so obtuse?

  on jwtalk.net, the jw apologists are all over the conti case, about how "dumb" the jury was, how it is certain to be overturned on appeal, how jehovah will vindicate his name, blah blah blah.. meanwhile, on another thread about the sandusky verdict, you will find these comments:.

  so sad that it took all this time and ruined those young boys lives.

  but what about the school officials, didn't they have a responsibility to report this to the authorities??.

  How many ex-jws poster here now believe in Hellfire, immortality of soul, trinity, etc;

  i am just curious about this because although i agree with many of the posters here that the wt society is guilty of many horrible deeds, i still believe they are right when it comes to doctrinal things as i mention.

  especially hellfire.

  i just don't see how anybody that has studied the bible for many years like many of the ex-jws here can make an about face and go back to believing hellfire.

  quick build fun

  how many of you have ever worked on a quick build?

  here's a good one.

  i am a professional pencil pusher by nature.....but many years ago i decided i would volunteer at quick builds so i could help "build a house for jehovah".

  I used to like doing overnight security at the lot beore the hall was actually built. They had a trailer set up for us and it was supposed to be 2 brothers but lots of times some cancelled. At least I had that flashlight with dead batteries. We would play cards and sometimes watch movies on a laptop. Once when my partner cancelled I had my girlfriend bring me dinner, that was nice, she stayed awhile and we had lots of fun with GASP -no chaperone! Can't imagine the fallout if anyone had shown up, witnesses love to assume the worst.

  i've been involved with the witnessess since 1976. my ex-wife was a baptised sister who fell in with the wrong crowd and left the fruth when she should have been disfellowshipped.

  thats another story.

  after returning home in 1980 from working in the u.s. navy, i contacked her parents and in 1982 started studying for ernest.

  I know several JWs with tattoos but they are in places very few people would see them if you know what i mean. Also dated a JW girl with a few, ahem, piercings that most people will never see also.

  Don't ask me how I got this information. ;)

  today i added a new article to my blog addressing the sad consequence to individuals lives the result of watchtowers infantile doctrinal policy making.

  its the story of a man (and a woman) disfellowshipped for something watchtower later on decided was not immoral.
