Did You Have Good Relationships With The Elders?
by minimus inmy experience was that most jws wanted to have an elder “friend” just in case they got into any “trouble “.kinda like knowing that certain cop who might get you out of a jam.
.
of course there was another group who did everything they could to either kiss the elders’ ass or stonewall them anytime they came snooping around.. how did you and the “older men” get along?.

I tried to avoid them as much as possible as in my experience and for what I observed with others, any time they got involved in anything things would quickly escalate from bad to worse.
I had a couple of elder friends, one of them I've met before he was a MS, but they were just like any other brother to me.

They could handle it in the same way they handle marking talks, informing the congregation without mentioning any names. Gossip will do the rest.

Who says nobody can challenge the Governing Body? You can challenge them at any point, leave the organization and prove them wrong.
Now, in the greater scheme of things, the illustration is about absolutism vs democracy and the teacher is about to take control of the class again but he doesn't want to take any responsibility for what happened in between.

Latest awake on JW.org
by aboveusonlysky inthe latest awake (no 3 2020) on jw.org is just breathtaking, it's about prejudice and gives the following 3 examples which i will one by one attemp to debunk.. awake - some employers have mistakenly believed that women are unqualified for scientific or technical jobs.. erm... women are not only forbidden from elder or m/s appointment, they're not even considered qualified enough to adjust the height of a brother's microphone, you were saying?.....
awake - in medieval europe, jews were falsely accused of poisoning wells and spreading disease.
during nazi rule, jews were again slandered.

Was Sin Inevitable?
by Parker ini was wondering about this question and wanted to ask: was sin inevitable?
also, i had thought about past watchtower articles or publications related to this topic and did some research and found this from our readers ask if adam was perfect, how was it possible for him to sin?.
well, then, did god create adam with a moral weakness, so that he lacked the ability to make sound decisions or to withstand temptation?

It seems God, Adam and Satan put a trap to blame Eve for all their sins.

According to Watchtower doctrine God didn't speak directly to Eve, but He used her husband to communicate with her.
We would have to ask her why she trusted the first serpent that crossed her path more than she trusted her husband.

The women that abandon “The Good News” are a large army
by Aimee.Padilla into be born a woman is a great disadvantage in many parts of the world and much more if she is part of a destructive sect like the jehovah’s witnesses where she is submitted to the “theocratic order” being the base that sustains the corporate pyramid, displaying submission at all times before male authority.
those of us that have been part of this cult can verify that the woman has to carry out a series of practices that for the rest of society is somewhat incomprehensible.
i’d like to draw your attention to the act of head covering, if for any reason a woman has to pray in public while a male is present, who is not available to lead the prayer, she must cover her head because she wouldn’t be respecting the arrangement of authority if she didn’t.

Pete Zahut
when a man allows himself to be oppressed, he was a weakling and a fool with no one to blame but himself. Blaming others is not a luxury that men are allowed and calling himself a "warrior" for finally doing what he could have done all along, would be laughable."
Really? Then, what is this webpage about?

Purple Triangle
by apostatethunder inhas anyone noticed that the colour purple comes from mixing red and blue, and that the red triangle meant political prisioner and the blue triangle meant foreigner?
purple also comes from mixing pink and blue, foreign homosexual or sexual offender.
that's how the nazis wieved the bible students.

Really? Jehovah's Witnesses were put into camps because they saw Jesus as their only king and not the fuehrer? How was that not the case of all Christians? Catholic priests were put a red triangle, political enemies.
I always thought Bible Students were put into camps because the nazis didn't agree with the Watchtower hierarchy. Also they were trustworthy, unlike any other prisioner.
Bizarre? Nazism was an ideology obssesed with symbolism, but maybe you are right and they didn't pay any attention to the colors they used.
