They do talk to me and they seem to appreciate my company when I see them. But, I think a gay wedding might be a push too far. Anyhow, I will invite them.

Should I invite my JW aunt and cousins to my same-sex wedding? If I ever get married.
by Endlesssummer inafter attending my cousin’s jw wedding the other day - gosh it was intense.
it got me thinking.. i’m openly gay in the family and most definitely not a witness.
anyway, i was invited to the wedding and i went.

Anyway, I was invited to the wedding and I went. I’m pretty sure since 80% of attendees were JWs, I couldn’t help but think many of them were avoiding me like the plague - especially the ‘lads’.
My question is, if and when I get a boyfriend and I perhaps get married, do I invite the family members who are witnesses? I doubt they would accept but at the same time, I wouldn’t want to not ask them. I also wouldn’t want them to attend feeling overwhelmingly awkward.
