  almost done with college, what next?

  so, in june, i will be officially done with my schooling.

  i realized today that i will not graduate this semester because i needed 2 more art classes to fullfill my studio art minor.

  well i immediately signed up for two "boot camp" classes in the summer, mtwthf classes from morning till afternoon...for a full month!

  I set a goal for the week in may when people graduate (and I have a week between spring semester classes ending and my two summer courses beginning) I am going to get in contact with some media businesses. There are two I have a good chance at, a marketing/advertising company and then there is a software company (where I am garunteed the job already-but they have to create a new job for me, and I am not quite sure I want to program all the time).
  
  I also need to buy a portfolio and put my work in it!

  You know you're NOT a JW anymore when...(add some)

  you don't automatically wake up with a headache on sunday morning.... you no longer go around (while in field service) mentally deciding what home you'll "have" after armaggedon.... every item of clothing you buy as a woman is not first assessed for its modesty value.... you no longer worry about the 144,000 watching you have sex...:).

  when on holiday you don't have to find the nearest kingdom hall asap (remember brother and sisters you are not on holiday from jehovah!!!).

  being able to laugh about having a numb ass at the assemblies from sitting and the hilarity in having to tell people that you found the meeting "uplifting" when really you were fighting sleep the whole time.... you no longer have to avoid entire sections of music stores in order to make sure you don't pick up and "demonistic" vibes from backmasked cd's.

  You own a dress...and it does not fit anymore and you don't care
  You dont need to worry bout a little cleavage
  You own tons of flip flops, and you WONT get talked to by elders about them either
  You have FUN on the weekends
  You can watch Saturday morning cartoons finally!
  You go to the cities for reasons other than the assembly (to drink! duh!)
  You go out to a bar, see a JW, and feel bad that they are slinking so YOU don't see THEM, and you feel bad for them
  You go to a bar and there is a hot girl and you knew her as a witness...and she is no longer one, so you can make friends with them
  You can watch the GOOD artsy films that were rated R
  You can breathe easy. *sigh* of relief

  Thanks guys! (Thanks for the link Valis). I am looking at job posting sites and there is nothing that I see myself doing. I want to do design, my dream job is to work at a newspaper or magazine doing layout design, even advertisements. Oh that would be neat. I know that I can sort of sit back and do some good searching and there is not a huge rush...although my fiance would like a little help from me as he has been the one bringing home the bacon. :)

  So, In June, I will be officially done with my schooling. I realized today that I will not graduate THIS semester because I needed 2 more art classes to fullfill my Studio Art minor. Well I immediately signed up for two "boot camp" classes in the summer, MTWThF classes from morning till afternoon...for a full month! Sheesh!
  
  Oh so what can a girl with a BA in New Media and a minor in Studio Art DO?? Hey does anyone have a job for me? ;) I can see an end in sight (that is...until I am married in september and decide to re-enroll to get a masters, haha) but now that I see that end...I see that I will need a job. *chokes* OMG I am scared...
  
  Any advice???
